The Whole Cam Thing...Choices. Hi All, I was thinking about the whole cam thing. I go on cam a bit as i think it's a great way for people to see i am the person that appears on my profile pics I have heard many a story of meets where one or both parties are not the person that appears on their profile pic. Why would you do that if you intend on meeting someone, i just don't get it!? Don't you think the other party you meet will notice you look a tad different? So cam for me is a way of showing i am who i am. The sad thing about cam is that all conversation seems to stop when my cam goes on & i get inundated with explicit requests. I'm no prude, not at all, but i am more private than that, thats just my choice. So the room floods with request of, "Show me your pussy, ass, tit's, nipples, wet bits, pink bits." "Can you touch yourself please?" "Watch my cam while i masturbate for you" "I'm stroking myself for you." Hmmmmmm Scratches head, "For me, just for me, REALLY? .... I'm all a'swoon. You think?...Ummmmm....I think not lol I show what i wish to show on cam I don't do requests, again my choice. I have no problem with cleavage cam nor showing my tattoo , which i designed & am very proud of, but as for more it ain't going to happen. If & when i share myself to a fuller extent it will be a private thing, the choice i make. So if you see me on cam, by all means say hello, have a chat but please no requests. findoutandsee2, thank you for your comments. How & where do i set ground rules before camming? Because, in chat i find all i do is post & re-post my ground rules to no avail. That is what i meant by, " All conversation seems to stop." As so many seem to fancy themselves as budding Porn Directors. lol As for respect in real life, i would never consider meeting with one of these Directors. No respect, no time for, no meet!!! Fussy Hunni, thank you, you really got what i was trying to say. I too have friends that love to show on cam & even like some direction from time to time, I am so fine with that. I just want the same respect i show others. If & what i choose to show, should be respected with out harassment & that applies to all. When you were speaking of the guy you felt comfortable with, i new almost word for word what you were going to say next. You are so right, a simple, "do you mind or would you like to see me play," is not a hard ask. The great thing about being given the choice is we have the option of declining with grace & no hard feelings. No one is left feeling awkward & chat can be resumed as before. If i decline a show, it is not a put down, it is a simple choice that's all. I had a similar experience recently where i felt comfy talking to someone. We went into msn to chat & his cam was offered. I stated i would except if it was face cam. He agreed & all was fine for a short time. Then...... the cam dropped with out warning & there he sat in all his glory, to coin a phrase. I stopped cam & told him i had kids coming in & out & wasn't impressed. He said he was sorry & presumed i was alone. I told him no one should presume anything & he should have asked. Soon after i signed out of msn. A lack of common courtesy can really put a damper on what started as a good conversation. Thanks again Fussy... Power to you, Cum2, hon. And good to hear this one voiced. I myself really enjoy seeing a beautiful curvy woman on cam but feel it's really narrow and disrespectful - not to mention dull! - for folks to just barge in with their boyish little demands of 'show us this' 'show us that' - lawdy, it's embarrassing to be a fella sometimes. Ain't it nice to sometimes TALK to a gal and get a handle on what she's passionate about, or enjoy her sense of humour, or just shoot the breeze? Or am I just being old-fashioned here?

Hey Sassay Girl, good to see you here & thank you for your comments. I think is seems to be a pretty across board feeling, both from men & women that there is a lack of manners in chat. I've been really pleased to hear some of the mens comments here as well& thank all for their views.
