The most romantic date story was written by Tantric_Gooru!

A very close second was written by toxic_sins!

The winners will need to contact us at events@friendfinderinc.com to verify their acceptance of a premium membership or indicate the alternate equivalent feature they wish to receive.

Thank you, everyone, for participating!

A copy of the winning stories will be posted shortly.

I enjoyed your contest entry, but couldn't relate to the actions, emotions, feelings and naive energy of a sixteen year old. Surprise! - This isn't about your talent as a writer, its about my being old, and not remembering much about when I was 16, except never even getting close to having sex. Don't even ask about GOOD sex.

I also also find the writing in your comment above to be a much better example of your talent than your contest entry.

With over 400 entries, (w/o regards to what % of entries were read by a deciding party) and however the decision was made, (other than $, nepotism, or sexual favors), CONGRATULATIONS!

I say "Congratulations." to the winner.

But, "a Disagree, voter", comes even to the winner soon.

I can be understood that that is pushed to the silly contribution.

But, the person who pushes Disagree to the serious contribution is thought to be poor.

I got 12 disagree soon, too, and I was a shock.

Disagree 12 Neutral 0 Agree 0

The reminiscences of the lover whom I can't meet for three years by the long-distance love

Result: Disagree 16 Neutral 4 Agree 3

Probably suitable bote was done later.

I feel my story was one of the better ones written, I am not a writer by any means, but I had romance without having to include all the grafic details of the sex. in any case, I am not complaining about not winning as I figured "I" in all common sense, wouldn't win in the first place. But my goal was to let people know that in my case...My night was special because I was able to spend it with the 2 most important people in my life. How many of these stories were actually true? were just written in a spur of the moment because of the prize attached? so, whomever reads this...don't think I'm complaining about not winning, because it doesn't matter in the end...if you enjoyed posting your story and people enjoyed reading it, isn't that what counts?

oh and where are the posts for everyone's stories. Except those posted on the instruction page? Didn't think voting was going to effect winning or I would have found a way to vote. It's all rather sad, except for the winners, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I had the best date story for this contest. Ask anyone, except the winners. Shouldn't everyone's comments have stated basically the same thing. Unless you don't feel your story made the grade.

Mine was true with some poetic license and truly a romantic experience, still all in all, congratulations to the winners.

Thanks RikkOShay, like you with this last comment I too am following you out the door, so hold it open for me please.

For ME to be SOUR GRAPES, I would have had to been a contestant, written a story, not won, and THEN complained about those who did. THAT is SOUR GRAPES.

I DID NOT write a story, I DID NOT enter as a contestant, consequently, I had absolutely NOTHING to gain nor lose by stating my opinions.

Linking arms with Rikk lets go big guy!!!.

p.s.
Nice to meet you!

LOL, sorry to disappoint you meltdownman, I sure can't say that I was cynical, and heartbroken at the age of 16, quite the contrary. Such an wise age to be 16 with so much experience and knowledge of what life actually means and holds in the future.

Matter of fact, if everyone could have the life I have been privledged to have, and the love I have known for well over 30 years, not to mention my many other successes in my lifetime they would be as grateful as I am for the many blessings.

I have never had a "hard day in my life". Now THAT is funny, you call me warped, and your the one who is so very cynical by your own words.

How very interesting that you read a couple of posts I have made stating my opinion, and that now qualifies YOU to be an expert on MY LIFE, how it's been, as if you know all about me, when you don't know me or my life from diddley squat!. Now if that isn't JUDGMENTAL I sure don't know what is.

Basically as I said, NO, it isn't SOUR GRAPES, it simply means that those of us here who happen to disagree with the outcome have the right to THEIR opinion as you do yours.

Everyone has the RIGHT to their opinion, and your opinion is no more important nor unimportant than mine or anyone elses, and no where is it stated that we have to sacrifice OUR rights in the preservation of your or anyone elses rights.

I didn't single out any ONE person I honestly feel that ALL of those who wrote, and received HIGH votes, SHOULD have been considered, it's as simple as that.

I wasn't going to respond here again, but after reading some of these comments, I will make one last post. Mostly in support of RikkOShay, who I don't know at all, and Jules2find that I also do not know AT ALL.

First of all this was a CONTEST on an ADULT site. NO, nothing needed to be "graphic" matter of fact, the "graphic" was a total turn off and nothing more than pure smutty trashey or erotica if you prefer a nice word. NO one ever said that 16 or young teens didn't think they were romantic, BUT, go back to when YOU were 16 and what you thought was cool and so romantic and compare it to what you NOW find romantic!! Buying your girl a slushey, and taking her to a movie and being stuck in puppy love does NOT constitute romance in the ADULT WORLD.

As for SOUR GRAPES, hardly THAT, I went and CHECKED Rdy's network and hot list, and trust me there are NOT 100 people in there. So NO it wasn't a "POPULARITY CONTEST" Nor was it for the others with higher votes. I am sure they all have more than 40 friends on here. However, when you see voting of over 100 people who ALL AGREED that a post was a good one, and then it or the other high voted on posts submitted that had 39 or MORE positive votes, ALL of which were totally disregarded, why call this a contest.? WHY ask for votes if you are going to ignore them, and make decisions on your own.

All that was required if that was the criteria for judging, was for it to be a literary submission, to be "JUDGED" by TSmeet. Which is EXACTLY what they did in the end.

Very FEW of the submissions had anything to do with ROMANCE at all, they were all centered on RAW CARNAL SEX. World of difference between the two as pointed out by RikkOShay.

To be able to sit down, and write something in 500 words, or less, that touches somewhere inside someone, or that they can relate to on some level is never easy. Yet it CAN and HAS been done. If you don't think so there are a hell of a lot of famous Poets, that have poetry out there that is far less than 500 words, that people adore and quote all the time, and considered VERY ROMANTIC.

As said, what is romantic to one is NOT romantic to others. You always see and hear about the wonderful "candelight dinners". Well, guess what, to me THAT IS NOT ROMANTIC, I wanna see what the heck I am eating!. The same goes for having rose petals strewn all over the bed!! For others, they melt into a puddle at the mere thought. Which is just fine we are ALL different. As Jules2find said, we ALL had raging hormones in our teens, especially the males.

My "sour grapes" if you wish to call it that, is that this site put this up as a CONTEST with VOTES, many people took the time to READ and vote on what they found appealed to them. THEN TSmeet totally disregarded ALL the votes and as I said, selected two winners that had ONE positive vote overall.

Had they even selected a winner from the highest scoring posters, and there were a few, it would have made a whole lot more sense than what they ultimately did.

The other point that always annoys me is when a person ANY PERSON, posts an opinion, and not on the topic we are discussing here, but something personal relative to themself, and everyone runs and votes NO. If you say, I hate liver, how the hell can anyone come along and vote NO. You don't think they know they don't like liver? or you think they are lying???

Someone here said Congratulations, and they get a NO vote? And to my knowledge NO ONE HERE made any bald accusations over this THAT comment definitely applied to ME, wherein I said, "Next time TSmeet, just say up front you are going to pick your friends to win and screw the members who vote!!!." If you consider that a "bald accusation" begging your pardon, but add the last part wherein I said "screw the members who voted". With ONE yes vote and ONE no vote, you win, and you think you were selected why???

I personally, didn't find the story you wrote offensive, nor entertaining, or romantic, but it was clean, simplistic, and very teenaged in it's intent and content. I DID find Quite a few posts other than yours that I read that were very good!!! and not just ONE either and they WERE ROMANTIC.

So now, everyone can hit the disagree vote!! that seems to be the way to go, and I honestly can't say I care. I simply agreed with RikkOShay and jules2find and wanted to voice my thoughts.

And if you honestly didn't feel the need to "address this pettiness" Then why did you take the time to make such an extended post to do so?

I wish I could be around in about 40 years, and then have both YOU and Meltdownman, come back here, and discuss if what you find so thrilling and romantic, in YOUR TWENTIES, is so romantic and hot and sexy when you are in your 60's or 70's. Wanna bet your view don't change in even 20 years??

Laughing here now. I don't know if either of you are married or not, but if you are, stop and take inventory, if you have been married any length of time which at your ages, I doubt, but how much ROMANTIC EFFORT did you put forth to win your wife?Girlfriend, or Significant Other and HOW MUCH OF THE SAME THINGS ARE YOU DOING TODAY!! now you won your prize??? Or how much of that are you going to be doing in 20 or 30 years!!. Or is it going to be just like everything else, you got what you want, and NOW you don't have to do any of those things any more!!.

VOILA, Romance and romantic ideas CHANGE.

Romance is a wonderful feeling; to be able to write about it, is a gift.. Congradulation Tantric..

The voting thing has always been abused on this site.. especially the negative ones.. Some little critter creeping around getting a thrill out of pushing that negative vote.. lol.. If I can't say WHY I did a negative vote, I just don't vote..

I also agree with Chubby, yes, thanks for sharing..

It's only an online contest people. If you want publicity, send your stories to a publisher and let them pay you for it if you are good enough. They said it quite clearly that it is not a popularity contest and that Passion.com will choose the winners. I'm sure we all thought we might win or else we wouldn't of submitted our stories. Enough of my two cents--back to videos now, he he he.

I had to go back and search thru all the entries. I wanted everyone who entered this contest to KNOW, especially the ladies on page 1 that had votes in the 30's! and Rdy who had the popular vote of 104 just how many votes the WINNERS actually had.

Toxic's Sins had a walloping total of ONE yeah 1 positive vote, and TWO 2 negative votes!! OH BOY huge turn out there!!!

Tantric Guru had, I hope you people are sitting down.

ONE 1 Positive vote and ONE 1 Negative vote!!!!. And these are your winners folks!!!.

So as far as I am concerned they did NOT WIN but the ladies and gents who actually had the popular vote won.

BOTTOM line: the one with the LEAST amount of votes One positive ONE negative, won first place, and second place was to ONE positive and TWO negative.

Next time TSmeet, just say up front you are going to pick your friends to win and screw the members who vote!!!.

What a lame disgusting turn of events THIS IS!!!!. If I were those on the front page and other pages with high votes I would be OUTRAGED!!!! I certainly am and I wasn't even a contestant!!!.

Obviously the POPULAR VOTE had absolutely NOTHING to do with this ALLEGED contest. How the hell someone has 104 ACTUAL VOTES FROM PEOPLE ON THE SITE And she don't even come in for honorable mention???? She had the LEAST amount of negative votes in those who had any vote count at all and she LOST???

The next time TSmeet decides to run a CONTEST, FORGET THE VOTING FEATURE!! AS YOU IGNORE IT ANYWAY. This was NO CONTEST at ALL.

As was said before me, WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU PEOPLE READING AND THINKING!!! Just one more time TSmeet screwed it's members and ignored what they wanted, way to go TSmeet.

I suppose I am more shocked that I personally had 104 positive votes and only 12 negative votes as opposed to the rest of the voting going on and I still lost!! I was way ahead on that part. roflmao I know that the site voting was not the end all, but I guess in my mind you would have seen that some people liked a story above the others and may have had some weight put into that. Oh well...at least people enjoyed my story.

toxic_sins's story:

A Lovely Dream

Deep in a wooded area lays a small, one roomed cabin with a tin roof and a cook-top wood-burning stove. This cabin offers few amenities, having no electricity or running water. It has a hand operated well pump inside the house over a tub that also doubles as the kitchen sink. The water is heated by the wood burning stove via the main line which passes right by it. The décor is mismatched and eclectic at best but lacks for a love seat of any kind only offering a “full” sized bed that has been strung from the rafters and transformed into a swing.

Here would be the place where I meet my secret lover. I would meet him in a book store or somewhere of that nature. He would be a wise, kind, tall, strong man with loving eyes and a tender voice. His touch would be firm, but gentle and soothing. His dark hair and dark eyes would give him a somewhat mysterious look, but he would be a well kept man, clean and very neat.

The first part of our evening would be spent sharing our funniest stories with one another. After our drawn out conversation he would draw a bath for me and gently aid me in removing my clothing. He would then assist me into the tub and help me wash away the woes of the world, touching and caressing each part of my skin with a soap filled rag, leaving my long brown locks for last. Afterwards I would brew him fresh coffee on the stove and offer to rub his back. Then we would settle into the small bed cuddling close to one another to keep the cool November night off our skin.

A thunderstorm would settle in leaving us to listen to the sounds of rain hitting the old tin roof. We would find a moment here to embrace one another in front the roaring fire enjoying the sounds of nature, glancing at one another as the lightning would light up the little cabin now and again.

He would whisper to me how he adores me and I would return by saying how I admired his strength of character. Our sweet utterances would be followed by a passion filled kiss that would send shivers up our spines and a thrill through our hearts. He would follow his kiss by slowly running his fingers down my cheek and neck and my hands would tremble as I rested my wrists at the base of his neck.

We would make love with one another, showing each other how much we really cared, caressing and kissing every tender place. Our eyes would see the dawn of a new day having not slept a wink for fear that we would miss an opportunity with one another. But as life often goes, sunrise would mean it was time for our departure and to go our separate ways ending our night away with a passionate kiss.

Tantric_Gooru's story:

She was every schoolboy's fantasy... so beautiful she was hard to look at... artistic, sensual, and in full flower. I dared not think she liked me. But all my friends knew she did... In those days, I was always the last to know.

Handing me a letter, she scurried off to class. I got dreamy when, reading it in the back of chemistry, it closed with the word enchanté. Needless to say, the day breezed by before I knew it. In front of school I tried to play it cool, but she kissed me quickly... lingering just enough with her full, parted lips to make me completely crazy. And then she was running for her bus. Thunderstruck, I stood there gaping until she leaned out a window and told me about the concert she would be going to on Valentine's Day and that she hoped I could go.

Nothing on the earth could have kept me from meeting her there. But everything sure tried. As I soon found out, this venue was about as far away as it could be without being in another state. I had no car... and no money to speak of. But I had the determination of that wild love that only hits you when you’re a 16 year-old virgin. I convinced a friend to hitch-hike with me to this "Starlight Amphitheater" for the 5 band extravaganza, and ill-prepared but full of heart, we departed.

I won't detail the debacle of our journey other than to say that after nearly being kidnapped by an aging gay socialite, almost arrested twice for hitchhiking on a freeway, and waiting ages for rides that often took us entirely out of our way, we finally showed up 5 hours late, 2/3rds through the show, bedraggled, and with no idea where on earth we actually were. All I could think about was that she might think I didn't care enough to show up. Of course, we didn't have enough money to pay for tickets. So, we circumnavigated the venue on dusty hiking trails. An hour later we’re hopping the back fence, the sun is setting, and the pulsing sounds of a hot reggae band are running up the grass.

Walking down the stairs to the lawn, I was blinded by the fiery rays of the dying sun when a shadow broke free and came running up the stairs to meet me. I swear to you, this was like a movie. I didn't have time to be nervous or bemoan my lack of a gift. She jumped up at me like a tiger kitten, and we had been making-out for 5 minutes before I even came up for air… to realize that her friend and my friend were standing awkwardly off to the side, torn between awe and annoyance at our utter self-absorption. They would both learn to deal with that, as she and I continued to be famously oblivious in each other for many, many months to come.

Enchanté… truly.
