My Wish........... for you
My Wish........... for you I don't usually post song lyrics, but I just can't get this one out of my head. Maybe because it seems to come right out of my very own heart! (P.S. The frog in the photo was a spontaneous purchase last night. I loved it and just HAD to have it!) Rascal Flatts I hope that the days come easy and the moments pass slow, And each road leads you where you want to go, And if you're faced with a choice, and you have to choose, I hope you choose the one that means the most to you. And if one door opens to another door closed, I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window, If it's cold outside, show the world the warmth of your smile, But more than anything, more than anything, My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to, Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small, You never need to carry more than you can hold, And while you're out there getting where you're getting to, I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too, Yeah, this, is my wish. I hope you never look back, but ya never forget, All the ones who love you, in the place you left, I hope you always forgive, and you never regret, And you help somebody every chance you get, Oh, you find God's grace, in every mistake, And you always give more than you take. But more than anything, yeah, and more than anything, My wish, for you, is that this life becomes all that you want it to, Your dreams stay big, and your worries stay small, You never need to carry more than you can hold, And while you're out there getting where you're getting to, I hope you know somebody loves you, and wants the same things too, Yeah, this, is my wish. This is my wish I hope you know somebody loves you May all your dreams stay big |

SC.... There are always going to be songs, whether from the past or new that somehow will magically crystalize the happiness or sadness of a certain time, situation, place or person(s). I've have stored many of them throughout the years and they always take me back as if it were only yesterday!

SC... My recall of a memorable song will always be influenced by how I am "feeling" at a particular time. Could be stimulated by a memory, my present environment or a particular person I'm with or thinking of. Seeing as I'm "here" on your blog and "you" have asked me, this is one I love that you consistantly evoke out of me. SHELTER ME The Outfield I wonder how I'd feel If we made love together I wonder how I'd feel Everytime we trembled In each others arms I wonder how I'd feel If we could spend this night together I wonder how I'd feel With your body held against me All through the night (Chorus) Oh-oh-oh Shelter me Oh-oh-oh I need you to shelter me I wonder how I'd feel If our emotions came together I wonder how I'd feel If the future was forever And not just tonight (Bridge) This time it's not so easy to take A broken heart can't be replaced Don't wanna play a waiting game From the moment we part I'll be counting the days I wonder how I'd feel If we made love together I wonder how I'd feel Everytime we trembled In each others arms

A Zen Kermit Immortalized in Bronze... I love it!!! How Awesome!!! Now about the lyrics... One of the sweetest, coolest and sexiest ladies on TSmeet encouraged me to listen to this song last week... Like I told her, it tugs at my heart strings... I haven't had them tugged at very much lately... Just to give you an example, a few months ago, I was sitting and watching Disney's remake of "Parent Trap" (Every kid of a divorced families dream come true...) and began blubbering during each part when someone realized something about someone else... It happens about ten times in that movie... btw... It's one of my all time favorite movies... Am I just a big sappy guy or what??? pssst... You realy don't have to answer that... Have a great week!!! Hoosier.

Hard to name one... lol... But sense we seem to be on a country theme, I will share one of my all time favorite country songs... Ya... It's a heart tugger... wink! wink! Tim McGraw's ~ Live like you were dyin' (He is just to damn cool!!!) He said I was in my early 40's, With a lot of life before me, And a moment came that stopped me on a dime. I spent most of the next days, lookin' at the x-rays, Talkin' 'bout the options and talkin' 'bout sweet time. Asked him when it sank in, that this might really be the real end. How's it hit ya, when you get that kind of news. Man what ya do. And he says, [Chorus] I went sky divin', I went rocky mountain climbin', I went 2.7 seconds on a bull name Fumanchu. And I loved deeper, And I spoke sweeter, And I gave forgiveness I've been denying, And he said someday I hope you get the chance, To live like you were dyin'. He said I was finally the husband, That most the time I wasn't. And I became a friend a friend would like to have. And all the sudden goin' fishing, Wasn't such an imposition. And I went three times that year I lost my dad. Well I finally read the good book, And I took a good long hard look at what I'd do If I could do it all again. And then. [Chorus] Like tomorrow was a gift and you've got eternity To think about what you do with it, What could you do with it, what can I do with with it, what would I do with it. [Chorus] Sky divin', I went rocky mountain climbin', I went 2.7 seconds on a bull name Fumanchu. And I loved deeper, And I spoke sweeter, And I watched an eagle as it was flyin'. And he said someday I hope you get the chance, To live like you were dyin'. To live like you were dyin'. To live like you were dyin'. To live like you were dyin'. To live like you were dyin'.
