Day 9

Up bright and early...first off was the Baseball Hall of Fame. While I wasn't disappointed I also was awe struck...kinda thought I would be I guess...but it was definately worth the trip...funny how that keeps coming up for me...not all that I'd hoped but still worth the trip...hmmm. One thing that beat the heck out of the Hall of Fame was Fenway Park...man...still can't get over that place...soooo cool.

Then the drive to Toronto...OH...MY...GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....what is wrong with people...do they get their drivers licenses from Crackerjack boxes??? The New York Thruway is just filled with big trucks...who know exactly what they're doing...but the cars...not even a clue... Especially people, it seems, from New Jersey...one woman from that state almost put me and my little Suzuki into the wall at one point...the big truck beside me managed not to crush her SUV when she zipped in front of him and cut him off...then she swerved in my lane again and almost clipped me! Goodness...and the men from New Jersey were no better...two other cars from that state almost caused crashes...YIKES!

But I managed to make my way back into Canada...got a nice text message from my first stop last week...she wished me a safe trip home and wondered how I was getting along...sigh...does no one read my blog???

In Toronto I quickly scurried to the game as I was stuck in another huge traffic line at the border for close to an hour. Toronto versus Texas and I am happy to report that TO won, though they did try to give the game away a couple of times...

Then back to my hotel and relax...ahhhhhhhhh....

I must say I used to think that Toronto drivers were bad...but they're pussy cats in comparison to New York...GOD!!!

Tomorrow another Blue Jays game and then a friend who I haven't seen in over a year is taking me out on the town...very cool...so by this time tomorrow when I make my semi last entry (No entry Sunday as I will be flying, etc) I will be wrapping up the actual trip part...but I'm sure next week I will blog about things that come back to me...

But that was today...sorry...so far just a travelogue, but tomorrow night might be interesting and then I do have to tell you about the 50 something lonely desk clerk in Oneida, NY...yes indeed! Now there's a story...lol.

Stay tuned...
