I myself think that if, as a couple, anal is a part of the menu, it means complete and absolute trust upon each other. Also even if monogamous use condoms for anal penetration. The ones that get pissed off, for them it's a power trip. The ones that don't get pissed off, they're respectful. They might ask because they might like it, but they accept your answer. Me, I like a lot of things, but if my partner doesn't it ruins it for me. I can't do anything that I think makes them uncomfortable.
