Well, almost!
My lawyer called this morning to tell me that Mr.& Mrs.Photo's lawyer offered a settlement to get me out of their lives. Normally, these things take YEARS to settle, as the defendent tries to delay as long as possible to try and wear the plaintiff down, and get off cheap.
What helped, was that my lawyer was able to get the judge to sign an injunction to prohibit them from producing or distributing any other DVD's or internet videos until I signed a release, because some of them may have had me on them.
As soon as they found out their business was shut down, they folded like a lawn chair, and they made an offer.
It's not really a lot, especially after lawyer fees (1/3) and taxes, but since I wasn't really looking for money in the first place (I just wanted my photos and videos destroyed), anything is a windfall. There's still details to work out, and I have to be sure I won't be on youtube having sex with them, but it's OVER! Yippee!
Legal Beagle says I'll probably end up with $75,000 to $95,000, and it's all going into my "early retirement funds", so I can stay out of the workforce and on my knees sucking dick, where I belong.
One of their counter offers was that, if I dropped my suit and signed a "model's release" so he could distribute my videos, I'd make WAY more from the royalties. Sorry, but I don't want to be a porn actress, and even if I did, I don't trust them to be honest and fair with me. I'll take what I got and be content that, when I do decide to do some video and webcam fucking, I'll be in control of the content and distribution.
Anyway, now it's time to go and celebrate with a few hard dicks!
