Confessions of a woman hater...

Hi my name is 2ndCircle and I hate women...Now before ya go throwing Manolo's and Choo's at me hear me out. I grew up in all female household just my mother me and my twin sister. I never had much in common with them and in turn that may have dripped over into my friendships. I was a tomboy thru and thru and my sister the princess of the realm (which I suppose made me the Court Jester). I also found that other girls did not like the tomboy. We were always the ones the boys wanted to play with and the ones they looked for.

As we got older this of course changed as did I. My pursuits went to more girly things and I left the tomboy behind. I still found however that the women and I did not get along. I looked at my male friends and I saw this ability to forgive each other even the biggest mistakes and hurts. My female friends however where a whole other story, I once witnessed 2 male friends of mine get in an argument over a girl and proceed to have a fist fight only to make up 2 days later and be best buds again like nothing ever happened. I also once witnessed the end of a 10 year friendship between 2 female friends of mine over a perceived slight.

When I moved into adulthood and the real world I saw this played out more and more especially in business. As male colleagues seemed to have each others backs and the women seemed to claw and fight each other to get to the top. The 3 Musketeers had All for one and one for all and yet if they were women I think it would have been like All for one and if you get in my way I will do all I can to remove you and any trace you existed. Perhaps it is society's fault, as I am sure some will say it is how we are raised and how we are viewed. But there comes a point where we must stand up and be held accountable for our own actions. How often have we seen 2 women long friends’ battle over some grimy man, only to find out later that he wasn't good enough for either of them? Only now it is too late and all that they had is lost, shattered and scattered like ashes on the wind.

This was my train of thought for a long time. But I have to say that a shocking thing happened when I joined TSmeet. In the last place you would think to learn a life lesson I actually did. I witnessed women who barley knew each other take up for one another when one was run over verbally. I saw women make friends in the unlikeliest of places, a sex chat. And form bonds that seem like the will last. I have seen women in the swinger lifestyle share men and not be catty and vindictive. And I have read blogs that make you proud to be a woman. I realize that there are exceptions to every rule of course and that goes for the whole blog and yes I have seen that side as well for me however I do see a silver lining. I did not come here to be taught and maybe that is why I am so open to it. And I thank all of you that have shown me what being a good, strong woman is about. Maybe as we get older our thoughts change and maybe it takes a glimmer of a post in a room to give it a push. I am at the point where I can look back and say...Hi my name is 2ndCircle and I like women.

So my heart felt thanks ladies.

I hear this women all the time. They would rather have a male supervisor rather than a female one because of all the drama that is involved. It's a shame women cannot be more supportive of each other.
