Seeking Joy  Japan-The Blue Pond Photographer: Kent Shiraishi Can't you just feel the calm of this place when you look at this photo? You know, I had this long, thought-out blog I was going to post. Really I did. But it is already 40 here, by the time my battery finishes charging and I get a shower, its gonna be at least five or ten degrees warmer because the sun has finally broke the horizon and there is not a single cloud in the sky, just those artificial ones that the planes keep making. Even those aren't holding up against old sol this morning. I hope everyone finds something beautiful about life today. I am off to seek the same. "Shall I tell you the secret of the true scholar? I see the calm. I see the limbs too! To me they look covered in ice. I had an confusing start to my journey today. But all worked out and I made my travel goal for this load. Off again tomorrow on the highway past the canoes in Tippi-canoe country to travel further North to Wisconsin once more. "Shall I tell you the secret of the true scholar? ah...you were peeping photos on the national geographic site, weren't you...  i always forget about the cool stuff there and then stumble back upon it every now and then. it's full of super cool photos! i always download them as wallpaper and change them out from time to time. right now, i've got one of the aurora borealis. enjoy your day...i'm going to lunch with some friends i used to work with. then...for a walk! I am selfishly using one of my own photos as my wallpaper though lol. I took a walk yesterday too, albeit a short one. The sun was awesome and it was so warm it felt like springtime.
