Please give your blog keyword/phrases lists for new browse Getting closer to release a new way to browse blogs that is based on keywords. Sure, we already have a search form but it has one drawback in that many people don't know what to search for when wanting to "browse" blog posts. The new way needs your help. Want to get a list of popular phrases that people might look for when looking through blogs - given this list, whenever a post matches one, we can automatically tag it to show up when someone searches for that phrase. I already found the 4000 most common words used by bloggers but as they are too generic (e.g., thoughts, love, passion, lips, pleasure, couples), they don't reflect the wider nature of our blogs here. What we need is a long list of 1,2,3 word phrases that you'd be interested in seeing in a page that if you clicked on them, you'd get the most relevant posts on that "topic". Just come up with a big list and post it in this thread. I'll combine them and tag all the posts to see what it looks like. New posts by bloggers would automatically get tagged if they contain any word in this list. After going live, we'll get your feedback on how it works. Thanks! |

Can't you already do that using the current search feature? I know I can plug in a word or phrase and blogs containing that will come up. Or do you mean a list of keywords we have to stick at the bottom of our blog posts, for searches, like in large political forums?

What about the member handles? Since many of my searches are done by tha handle of a member when a friend tells me about another members Blog.

There is also the optional "Mood List" that might be a good idea too. Also, what about members that create Blogs like GoddesofTheDawn that give tips and advice or suggestions with the use of the html tags; in addition, I too have a few things in my Blog that is for giving new members advice on how to be succesful with what they are looking for from this site (Sex partners, friends, LTR's, and also what to be careful of as well) from my over 6 years experiences. How about: Advice, Tips, Suggestions, Experience, Members Advice on Success, Members Tips, Members Tips on Success, Members Advice on HTML, Members tips on using Tags, Members Experiences on the site, Member Suggestions, How to, How to find a fuck buddy, How to get laid, How to find a sex partner, What to be careful of, etc... There are patterns in post genre that I hope you are shooting for by requesting keywords/phrases...if that is the case, here are a few suggestions: personal diary, erotic story, erotic poem, humorous story/anecdote, inspirational story, true encounter, married men, married women, email rant, blogger meet-up, fun toys, female masturbation, male masturbation, group sex, non-missionary positions, light (medium, heavy) bondage, newbie blogger, expert blogger, comment etiquette, personal images, sexual enhancement medications, foreplay techniques, platonic friend, safe sex, unprotected sex, personal list, blog recommendations, flame wars, profile building 'just thinking/rambling...but I like the meta data idea, Cozy

Is the intended result of the meta file to assist members on TSmeet to locating blogs or is it to connect us to other sites as well and or places on the internet where we are not aware that we are being published and exposed without knowing we are there? What are we being linked to in the big picture? I believe that the polls belong in the magazine, by the way, not in the blogs. The blogs are about the blogger blogging...writing..not just posting a poll. TSmeet have added many new things and yet one needs to be a computer person to be able to do them all. SexyFit and Goddess of the Dawn have helped so much in what they post as to the *how to's*... Making things *user friendly* serves in a big way as time is a precious thing. Just reviewing blog post content for key phrases might be difficult to truly capture the essence. Some are doing political commentary. News items. Marital issues. Sex education. General Sexploits. General Silliness. Asking folks to categorize each post as an option like mood might help. With the ability to select more than one. But that may be asking a lot. And it certainly won't be consistent. And might be open for abuse. Just like, even though in fun, people put "sex, sex, sex" in the title and then indicated "thought that would get your attention" and the post is about something else entirely. You have a tough job with this. Call up the guys at google and license their algorithms. And send our fees through the roof. lol. Good luck. SR

I know this isn't the appropriate place for this, but as I have tried eMailing AFFland and have gotten no response, and there isn't another BLOG post by you which seemed apropos, I decided this posting is as good a place as I'm going to find. I have been unable to add photos to my albums for weeks. I have tried every format and pixel width, including file size. Nothing works! I keep getting what appears to be an upload and then I am redirected to "login", which I have tried and it still doesn't give me a posted photo. I have also tried uploading any number of the "same exact photos" I already have in my albums and they won't load either. So I have concluded it is not an issue with me, but rather the site's photo handling procedures. Since I am a paying member and I intend on continuing to be one, I thought maybe you might be able to get my complaint directed to someone in the company who might just be able to spend enough time (in between upgrades, of course) to eMail me back with at least an explanation, if not a solution? It would actually help if you could link to the blogs with only a partial "handle". For instance...if you typed in Goddess...it would give you the list of handles with that in it. Or even "angel". Sometimes you hear of a good blogger...or you kind of remember someone you want to visit again...but you can't remember the entire handle. Like "Highpockets"....and you forget the following numbers in his handle. Would that be a possibility?

Kate... I have a total of 20 photos in two albums - most of which are tpically under 50K filesize (though a few are larger) and less than 400px wide. I know there are any number of "standard" members with substantially more photos of apparently larger size. So, I would not suspect I have hit a limit, although it's possible. Does that help? (And no... they're not of me - just BLOG posting photos which are easier for people to see than are the thumbnails.) Luvpump... Thanks! I truly appreciate it. I made a reference to google before in jest. But they do have a search current site command. For example site:TSmeet.com/blog lesbian encounter seemed to work In general are there prebuilt tools that can be integrated with anyones web site to do specific searches with customized results screens to maintain the look and feel of the web site? Would this save time if the tool already has some sort of logic to look for things similar to the search term and phrases which soft of mean the same thing? Just trying to think of ideas. SR

Some keywords I thought of, but I doubt they're what you're looking for, even though a number of bloggers write on these subjects. politics; politics of sex; gay marriage; marriage; religion; religion and sex; NeoCons; government in the bedroom; religious right; contraception; reproductive rights; reproductive rights in America; feminism; sex and feminism; freedom of speech. All of these are written about and all have a bearing on our sex lives and the freedom to use sites like this, especially when states are having to pass laws telling pharmacists they must fill prescriptions for contraceptives. I don't think they're categories to be overlooked. Especially since we know the more sexual keywords will be abused, especially by those who already use their blogs as an extension of their profiles.

Just did a search. The whole entire profile is there for everyone to read all over the world. Why do we have a password to enter TSmeet when we can see if for free on the WWW. Wow ~ never realized all of that information is out there for all to see. Where did the privacy go?
