Rain

Rain The rain is pouring down with no regards for where it splashes or hits. It is a warm summers rain that washes the dust from everything but cools nothing. It indescriminately wets everything steadily. The humidity is oppressive. It's pretty though, and my gaden is soaking it all in. It's warm showers do not bother all and everything. How I wish it could wash away my troubles. How I wish it could make everything fresh and new for me. How I wish for that clean feeling that I have been missing so much. Instead it presses on me. My eyes feel heavy, my heart seems tight in my chest. My smile does not come as easily as it should. I feel weighted under the pressure, as if the clouds themselves have decided to burden me with their load. It is this kind of weather that I have gone out in and danced in the wet warm showers. I'd encourage the girls to put on their swim suits and splash in the puddles. Where is that ambition? Where is that happy hippie chick attitude today? Mayhaps it's hiding as there has been so much else going on. Perhaps there's been just too much rain, and it does depress. So how to lighten up and put on my happy me? Surfing for funny pictures, articles/blogs sometimes helps. Calling a friend that always makes me laugh could help. Maybe some music and an impromptu dance contest with the wee ones. Or a funny dvd rental and some popcorn. Could be that making plans with someone would give me something to look forward to and change my focus. What do you all do when the rain gets you down?  |

High hows my rock. Hey your lucky the rain here in England is cold extremely heavy and comes with very strong winds and it's july/August, we get this every year and it really gets me down. wouldn't mind warm rain for a change. As for doing stuff i get out my mountain bike and go on a 10 mile ride in the mud. Lots Cxxxxxx

What do you all do when the rain gets you down? I sleep. The dreams I have are better than any movie or tv show, plus I get to be the star. Sometimes they are scary, sometimes funny, and other times just plain weird but they are always interesting. Sometimes I think the best thing that could happen to me is to be knocked into a coma for a few years just to keep them playing thru. Until then I'll just have to settle for the time I get during the nights and bad weather days.
