I'll remember the date. I was just worried that friends only can reply to your post and by the site's terms we're not friends. I felt excluded! As a standard member I can't ask you to be friends but you can ask me. I am a safe friend!
I was a gold member for years but given the site's plans for blogland I decided not to renew gold and lapse to standard.

 Hey Spunky - I don't think I'm the right person to create a blog Olympics. There really needs to be 'awards' and I can't do bling. Plus, I'm not widely read.

I do have an interactive idea that was used just before a Blogger Bash (10 years ago) I thought I'd try that. Originally, it was "10 Days to get to Know Me" but I thought I'd spread it out over every couple of days.

pocogato12 gave up on the Virtual Symposium just a year or two ago because of the word drop glitch. You may want to connect with her but I'd be willing to help out with that.
Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

I can't do bling either, but your '10 Days to get to know me' idea sounds great.
I'll contact pocogato about resurrecting the symposium and it would be great for you to get involved. It's always good to have a few moderators just in case.
Given the word glitch problem, which seems to be getting worse, perhaps a relaunch in the New Year may be best.

We don't have a generic name for American biscuits. We have lots of names for specific types of biscuits, eg digestive, custard cream, shortcake, bourbon, rich tea, chocolate finger, ginger nut, hobnob. We do say cookies but that's a specific type of biscuit here. They're usually chocolate chip biscuits.
The word biscuit, I think, came from the French; it means twice-baked.
I love your curiousity or should I say curiosity?!.

The interview reads great. I'll only edit it to de-apostrophise things so it reads better.
My son-in-law decided to de-isolate yesterday because he feels okay. I was furious; I had to explain again it's not about him but about others in my home. He's now back in his bedroom.
