Having access to the Internet is sometimes too much for me; sometimes I like things being served up for me like television does!
Thanks for dropping in.

When are the actually going to get drugs (PEDs) out of cycling. It got to be soooo much I kinda lost interest.
I think the drugs are being rid of in le Tour - times are slower and the dopers now caught are more instances of individuals rather than teams organising things. Co,mpanies don't want to sponsor a doping team.
The industrialised doping years of Lance Armstrong, I think, are over.

I normally don't watch any TV until I sit down for tea...around 5 in the afternoon. That's for about an hour and a half.
Then again later at night from 9 til 10.30. There's usually a good drama on then.

I'm going to have to catch up on the Tour De France. I've missed all the blood and gore.
There's been lots of blood and gore in this year's Tour but I think the race is now effectively over.

I'm a television junkie. .. I am trying to cut down. ... I have been turning it on less and less over the years. .. I'm down to 5-10 hours a day. (A lot of that is news, and a lot of the time it is just on in the background as I am always on the computer.)

I did see that "crash". I was over at my girl's house and she has satellite. I remember telling her that I read a blog about this! .. Not sure if it was live, but maybe. It was about 1am here. (Maybe later.) .. Then I remember reading that Cavendish had been kicked out the next day and many were saying that that was too harsh.

It was entertaining to watch. .. A lot like NASCAR but not as loud. ... I also thought it was cool to learn about the little French towns the race passed through.
Mark Cavendish had to retire from the Tour after being elbowed by Peter Sagan. Sagan was kicked out though it's difficult to say whether it was a racing incident or a deliberate elbow. Sagan has no form on this front, so I think he shouldn't have been kicked out because it gets rough when there's a bunch sprint!

Questions... when is the race over?
Le Tour de France will end this Sunday evening, but what will we do after it ends?!

I tend to listen more than watch television. My study is in a balcony overlooking my lounge where the television is. I can't see it from my chair but I can hear it; it's my background music!

it seems this tour had too many crashes...and many people getting hurt!
There have been lots of crashes, blood and broken bones in this year's Tour de France but no one has died. In 1967 a British rider Tom Simpson died while racing le Tour.

Television is background noise for me as well, unless it gets exciting which is quite rare!

It varies, when I'm in the UK we don't often watch any at all.

Do you have any pressing questions about le Tour de France you want to ask me?
OH GAWD YES! How much longer do we have to endure posts on the Tour de France Hugh, huh? how long? huh Hugh? Huh?
I'm only going to do one more post on le Tour de France, probably on Monday, and then I'll go quiet for a year!
