Having a good time y'all?
So I flew back from Atlanta over the weekend. A long flight, courtesy of some low hanging ash, and so I had to overfly the mid west and the northpole to head east.

Oh yes, I had a fun time. Despite that I was actually supposed to be working there, I soon discovered that when I actually opened my mouth people melted... which Im not exactly used to in UK. Hey we all have pretty much the same accent here.

But when you transpose a Brit with a sense of humour into a different environment its a recipe for chaos. Sure, I go into the deep south chat room and noone wants to know. I go into a restaurant in downtown Atlanta and I'm suddenly a VIP. I certainly helped dispell the myth that every brit is stuck up - and although I wasnt literally (alas, for there are some beautiful people out there) I was told on several occasions had a pretty good chance. Amazing.

And frankly a little ridiculous. Why should it take a 5000 mile journey to realise the fact. Im still the same guy. Same old gags too.

I cant wait to go back
