Getting Off While You Have Company?

I unintentionally offered to take my nephews for 10 days this summer. It was a phone call I did not expect to get and it caught me off guard. After a couple phone calls, I had agreed to take my 2 pre- nephews in July.

Well.... they got here on Sunday. I have them until the 21st of July. I have a ton of things planned and set to do during the day, but.... I have a problem.

Being single, I have developed a few routines. When I am on my own, I get off in the morning, go to work, come home and get off a few more times before bed. Of course that routine changes when I have FWB over or am at their house.

I miss my routine and I am only 2 days in!! I live in an open space and they are sleeping across from my bed. The shower is open to the bedroom and quite frankly, I can't tell them to go to the park for an hour because Auntie needs some alone time.

So, I suppose after my rant.. the question is: Is it inappropriate to get off while you have company staying with you? Or should I be good and just wait it out until they are gone?

 Unfortunately, I would offer that being a good role model aunt (at least until the nephews are out the door...) is lkely to cause the least amount of stress on the family!

Take them to the Stampede when it warms up!

 I think I figured out a plan! I have a birthday party to attend on Saturday evening. Grandpa is going to come and babysit while I am out. I am going to tell him to be here a few hours earlier than what he needs to be, I am going to a FWB house to get off and then hit the party. Woooooooottttttt!!! That should work for 24 hrs or so Oh ya!!!
