 My thoughts are that if you pay half or part of the rent and other bills, you can do whatever the hell you want within reason, as you say.

If I want to fuck, I'll bring her home. If a girl wants to bring me to her place to fuck, and she has a roommate/housemate, I'm going to fuck her and her roomie can STFU if we get too loud.

The only situation I could see is if the roommate give you so much shit for bringing anyone over in the past that you just don't want to deal with it again. (But i'd still do it)

 Well i do have a renter and yes i would have no trouble bringing someone home to play ,my marriage was a open one and someone listening or watching is a turn on so for me its no problem just have to find a lady fwb to play with lol

 I tried to avoid bringing women home when I knew my roomie was around because at the time I worked later than he did. He worked really early so it was a courtesy thing. It didn't always play out that way, but often.

For his part he didn't want me to hear what was going on with his bedroom antics either. Though if he had a guest I wouldn't have minded. Usually sleep with the TV on anyways so likely wouldn't have heard anything
