its good advice to give. i always think of what is the worst thing that could happen. The worst thing is you are sitting there with your buddies having the same conversation a week later. Or that she says no.

with loosing my wife donna to cancer has made me look at many things in a different light ,some regrets on things we never got to do but I try now to make the best of every day ,asking a beautiful woman out still to shy but that's okay regrets a few but thankfull for my friends .we all make choices road not taken that is what makes us who we are ,and what makes you a special woman soaking . kerry

Sometimes you gotta take the opportunities that life chooses to give you, once it's done with respect. In seizing the moment one should not cause offence. I happened to stumble upon your blog and decided to read a bit. I am intrigued by your ability to know what you want and don't want especially at your age. If you are in fact 29. I say this because when I was that age I had no idea of what I wanted or needed. A particular story I wanted to share which supports your argument of "tell the fucker to just go". I was and still am quite shy and did marry young....shortly after high school. Yes I thought that if everyone one else is getting married then it must be the thing to do. Mistake... The story goes like this...in high school there was this girl that was on my mind and I never did get the nerve to ask her out....and I always regretted it...a lot. Then after many years pass along comes face place....one day I have this friend request and yes its her. We began casual messages and found she was married as well. She told me she had a crush on me in high school...and wished we would have tried to get together. Jeez...now I don't have to wonder anymore. I kick myself over this....so if there is someone out there who is thinking should I go over and try to ask a lady to dance or just chat....I say DO IT! Thanks for the great post! Me
