 I have to agree with what Tilly has to say. Majority of the time it's the cause of the parents in that they don't teach the children manners in being out in public places like a restaurant. I know that when I was growning up & our parents tolk us out, we were raise to be respectful & well mannered.

 totally agreeing with you on this one. down here we have the huge fucking mormon clans who feel they have to every fucking child to eat with them. i resist the urge to trip them as hard as i can.

 i have only seen a parent smack a kid once for misbehaving in a restaurant, most of the time some parents do not care what the kids are doing, i have seen food thrown on the floor and the parents say nothing, i have had kids hang over the booth where i am sitting and the parents do nothing, i have seen kids climb on top of tables and not get scolded, when we go out to eat, we ask not to be seated near a table with children, our two boys had manners, and they also complain about unruly children

Watching parents like that makes me think that they've got an over inflated sense of entitlement.

 Absolutely. I'll beat my kids if they misbehave at a restaurant. My parents did and so i learned how at a young age.

My close friends bring theirs and neither behave themselves. I never go out with them as a result.

I agree completely. If I wanna hang out with my friends bad kids, I can do it at their home. Not at a nice restaurant

 have seen some bad kids ,also some bad adults ,taught my grandkids how to behave ,makes a enjoyable dinner hard a times when you run into the wrong people .
