 Deep topic, but just had to give you my thoughts. Life is a gift. What you do with it is up to you. Like all gifts you receive, what is the purpose of any gift? Some love it and cherish it and enjoy every minute of it, others just re gift it, others throw it away, others sell it,Some destroy it, some abuse it. But the saddest thing about a gift ins not knowing that it's a gift.If you give someone a gift you want them to enjoy it ,benefit from it,use it ,appreciate it.Make them happy about it.
So I say the best thing you can do is be Happy about your life, that's the purpose ,whatever you may do with it.

 At one time I thought there was some noble reason or purpose, but now I just think you're supposed to live and love. Enjoy life while you can and raise kids to make the world better for the future.

I have always thought,
To live and love.
Enjoy and leave the world a better place.

I believe thier may be more to God than meets the eye, but not everyone agree's (even some Christians it seems) but everyone is entitled to his/her opinion.

Personally I am working on the loving and living part
trying to enjoy the ride and make the world better by raising two kick ass kids (as in great).

 You could argue that if you believe there is no higher power giving us a specific meaning to life then you are not necessarily a nihilist but rather that the meaning of life can only be what you want it to be. The answer then becomes that the meaning of life is satisfaction - since you impose the purpose that would most satisfy you. So for some this would be the accumulation of things or helping others or raising children or caring for the planet or fucking as many NBA players as possible, you choose!

If you are religious this meaning is laid out for you and you have some sort of guidelines to follow. If you are not, and you have no goals, no ambition and no guidelines then the answer is that life has no meaning at all...

Also, you do have very nice nudey bits.
