 I agree with your stance on informing her and 'she can go fuck herself' 100 percent. A sad display of shitty character on her part.

Very, very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. That kind of loss is a little different for all of us, but it always hurts I think. Hope the trip is helpful!

Perhaps my stance would be too hard for most, but with my expectations of people as high as it is, I don't feel that I should relent just because someone is feeling selfish.
