 When I'm very depressed or distraught, its the music that I turn towards. Sometimes they let me feel what I can't describe or sort out in my head. Its really why I got into Dylan so much.

A song that hits hard unexpectedly like Radioactive is Creep, hell its one of the archetypes of what you are saying. When that song came out I just lost my mind, because it described how I really felt back then.

 I totally understand... both the music thing generally (you've seen my blog, right?) and those lyrics specifically.
I have experienced the same thing when my father passed and again when my step-father passed.
To some degree I am still there.
Going through the motions.
Keeping it all inside, to myself.
Effectively denying all emotions.
Especially in front of others.

You will get through this... in your own time and in your own fashion.

 When we loose someone important to us music can be a huge trigger to how we feel ,sometimes sad ,sometimes overwhelming ,sometimes brings huge joy . We all handle it in our own way sometimes being honest with what we feel ,other times hiding from it and the rest of the world .
