Online. Definitely. While far from perfukt, it does give one at least some sense of a person before meeting, rather than rolling the dice with a meet at random. Also provides some measure of security vis a vis their profile/isp etc. And on that note: I'll be overnighting in Calgary in a few weeks as I relocate to the west coast. Just saying.

Where do I look when travelling... I don't. Most of my travel is for work and I'm am usually too exhausted at the end of the day to bother.  On a side note... If I were in any of the 5 boroughs I would be making a bee line to the theater district after reading this blog post. Hell... if I had the time and money, I'd be on my way to the airport right now

When my daughter was young and had visitation with her dad holidays or summer and I knew I was traveling, I would set something up well in advance, through this site - since it usually took me months to decide if I wanted to meet someone and "screen" them. I'd be too concerned about safety and health issues to try to put something together quickly - IRL or online.

I use a combination of techniques. Online is a good way to make contact but actually the chance for a guy to hook up online prior is very small. A couple has only a slightly higher chance of success given that there are more people and personalities involved (which means more chance that someone will object to meeting and/or playing). Going out to coffee shops, and low key bars I find is a much better way to strike up a conversation and get to know someone. But it takes a more out-going personality

Where do you look for a fuck when you are traveling? Maybe just semantics but I don't really look for "just a fuck" - not even when traveling. I will much rather find a friend . . . which includes making a new friend. That takes some advance planning and effort, sure it does. I am lucky to often travel to the same cities, I suppose. Several times, I have exchanged emails with a potential friend on one visit and then finally met for the first time only several months later on my next visit. So if I am in a city just the one time . . . or if my travel plans send me somewhere on short notice, I resign myself to masturbating - sigh . . . I've never had any luck with bars or hotel lobbies - although fair enough that I've perhaps not put sufficient effort into cruising them. I'm guessing that I have the wrong anatomy - grin. Women can successfully cruise hotel lobbies - if they're so inclined. Men, not so much. Or is that only me ? Hmmm . . .

Recently traveled to Cuba. Did not have a interweb plan. The resort said they had wifi but it was not free. So I didn't bother trying. I met my vacation fun on the resort. One of my many "firsts" on this trip!!!!
