I was wondering what everybody thought of a Live-in girlfriend? Should you have one or not? If not why not? If so what kind of rules should be in place, and how to enforce them?

 Well, if its YOUR house and you pay the bills, etc, I'd say that you make the rules. Thats as far as the room and board aspects are concerned...

As for her being a live in girl friend (I read that as 'sex partner') to you or you both, that may require some more specific rules meant for everyone to comply with.

Chief and above all else is TRUST. You need to establish ground rules for conduct and contact, respecting everyone's limitations and come hell or high water, STAY WITHIN THOSE RULES. You could find that sexual adventure being the root cause of a divorce real fast if you are not all on the same page and stricktly respect the emotional boundaries of everyone involved.

If you can make that work, I say 'More power to ya! ya lucky fucker!"
