Number or Curse?

I've been wondering lately, is age just a number or a curse? 50 is getting closer then I'd like to admit, but I don't look or act it. How many 50 year old's to you know that race sport bikes? Anyway, number or curse? That's my current dilemma

I think that age is much more than just a number. Think about this for a moment, don't you have more wisdom then some 25 year old kind, than a 30 year old even. You've done some living and (hopefully) learned something along the way. (Of course whether one chooses to put that wisdom into practice is a different matter altogether.)

Age is not a curse unless you view it that way. Now at 49 or 50 you won't have access to as many 25 or 30 year olds as you may have when you were 35 but that's the tradeoff for managing to live this long without dying.

Because really, if you look at 50 as a curse, that's the only other alternative.

I can't get a line from a movie out of my head. 80's movie and I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. "I know I'm getting old. I'm invisible to teenaged girls" LOL Not that I'm going after teenagers, but the general concept of younger ladies.
