Awesome sex = great mood!

Holy cow I am in a great fucking mood this week!! This, yes THIS, is exactly what comes from having a week of truly amazing sex with even more amazing people.

I started working on a new project in Napa about a month and a half ago. Yeah, you read that right, Napa. As in wine country California Napa. Wine all over the office Napa. I really do love wine so it's pretty sweet to say the least. The last time I started a new project was in February just west of Philly. That was not an easy project. It was a very short project, just two months, which was seriously one of the reasons I agreed to do it in the first place. I don't usually work outside of the West coast. Traveling eastbound across the US really does suck the life out of you. You seriously lose almost an entire day getting there. Between the six hour flight and the three hour time difference, your whole day is just blown getting there. That coupled with having a hard time meeting people that were actually serious about meeting made for a not-so-great time in the area. Thankfully I did finally meet a couple of guys that were wicked fun but it was too short lived.

Napa has been a much different story. The project is with a I've worked with before. They actually asked for me specifically to come back, so that's always a nice thing to hear no matter what you do. Right now it's a short project, just a few months, but if I want it to, it can easily turn into something longer term. The travel is much easier too. I actually drive here each week rather than getting on a plane. I don't commute every day - that's way too far. But it’s close enough that flying isn't an option so I drive here. Having my own car is very comforting. It makes you feel like you’re home even though you’re still staying in a hotel. I’m a typical California driver too. I drive fast. Very fast. And I have a car that likes to be driven, so let’s just say people either need to get the eff out of my way or I am going to go around them and flip them off in the process. Yeah, I’m that person on the road. Wave hi next time I pass you.

Then there’s the local TSmeet population... Now that has been an interesting experience all by itself. First, let me start off by saying that I think the demographic of people in the area is a bit unusual. Hmmm…. how do I say this? I think it would probably be safe to say that Napa is a bit of a retirement community. It’s a pretty small town. Most of the major business is centered on wine production. There are a lot of family-owned wineries in the valley. This makes for three things. One is few single people. Two is few single males of a particular, and more precisely my preferred, age range. And third is people within a reasonable distance. There are a boatload of barely-legal-aged guys attending the nearby college, and a number of folks that are way older than me. I won’t go into the details of why my age range is what it is, but in any event, the number of guys that I would consider as potential playmates is rather slim.

The distance thing is another challenge. Bay area traffic can be a bitch no matter where you live. Regardless of how far you may actually be from someone in terms of mileage, how long it take to get there all depends on whether you are going with the flow of commuter traffic or against it. If you are against it, you are just plain screwed. I stay in a hotel so I don’t mind hosting most of the time. And if my partner wants to host at his home I don’t mind driving either. It all depends on how long I have to drive, or how long I think it would take them to drive. This messes with things and makes what might otherwise be someone “close” in terms of distance completely unreasonable in terms of a playmate. People from SF email me all the time and I won’t even consider it because of the commute involved either way. I don’t expect someone to drive for even a half hour or more to come see me, nor will I do the same. I think it’s just crazy to spend upwards of an hour in your car for a couple hours of sex. As I’ve said in other posts, I may be horny but I’m not that horny!

All these difficulties aside, there are definite plusses to being located in Napa too. For as rare as the guys seem to be in this area, the gals are even rarer. Yay for me! Being in this small community is taking being a Unicorn to an all new level. See my post Im a Fucking Unicorn for more on that . As a result, the emails and chat conversations are far more pointed and pretty much get right to it if you know what I mean. Far less bullshitting and endless emails than before, and as a result I’ve met some very interesting and cool people that are not only great to hang out with and have amazing conversations over a nice glass of wine, but are really fantastic in the sack too.

So here I am, working in Napa for a couple more months, and really just plain enjoying it and in a great fucking mood right now. There is nothing like some seriously amazing sex to put me in a great mood! And given the people I’ve met I think I’m going to continue to be in a great fucking mood for many, many weeks to come. Thank you boyz!

Until next time... here’s hoping you’re having some truly amazing sex that’s putting you in a great mood too!

I understand not wanting to drive a long way for some sex, but if a guy doesn't mind the risk that you'll turn him down if the in-person meet-and-greet doesn't go the right way, why not let him make the drive?
