"The right choice"?

"The right choice"? In life we have our regrets. I had a few in life. I figured life could had been better. In 2003, was in the National guard, we was at a dinner and the commander go across the way and reenlist. For contract was going exp next month. if I sign up for 6 more year, I could get a $2500 bonus. Wow, that would be nice. I got tired of wearing that uniform and I got and never came back in. I could had gotten a check the rest of life, when I was 60. In 2001, I got associated degree, I was happy. was hard, and stressful. I wasn't a "A" or "B" student, I was mainly "C" with few "B". So I didn't go after BA.I was talking a friend, I known for 27 years. He was talking about his choices he made in his life. he said something I said a million times. "What if". At time, I figured if make different choices life would better.. I told friend, that we both think we make the wrong choice. I told him, "What if what we did wasn't the wrong choice"? He said, "What". I said, "What if what happen in our lives supposed to happened". What if , the choices that we choose was "The right choice"? I told him to think about it. Because, we don't know the unknown, but we know the now.           |

First off thank you for your service my friend as it's much appreciated. Its funny that you decided to share this today. As my oldest grandson is contemplating going into the National Guard and its truly not something I am happy about. Being a proud Army mom and seeing what it did to my youngest son. I don't want him going in just because he wants to get away from his parents home, as that's not the right reason to go in to the National Guard. Thank you for sharing this my friend it really is true we need to make the right choices at all times, not make them to run away from something or someone..I hope you have a terrific day..  Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

the choice you make at the time is made because it is the best choice you can make at the time. when the right choice becomes the wrong choice you make another best choice at that time, and when that best choice becomes the not best choice, you tend to make adjustments to that choice... until it becomes the best choice you could make at the time yet all the time one wonders if the best choice they made at the time was really the best choice or was there a better choice as popeye always said " “If I'm not me, who am I. And If I'm somebody else, why do I look like me?” “I am what I am, and that's all that I am.” “I'm strong to the finish 'cause I eats me spinach.” bonne chance there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

Sometimes you have to trust your intuition and experience. Would be a magnificent life if we could avoid all events that will cause regrets later....but that is not ever going to happen, even to the youngest of us, and in some cases why would we want our life to be a clean slate of no regrets? Some events any of us regret, sometimes causes us to go down a path we really needed to follow. But likewise, some regrets will just be forever haunting "Regrets". I remember some of those.
