"How well you........
"How well you........ Years ago, I heard this said, in kindergarten and then in the 1st grade, They would think that someone had a problem getting along with other. There was that was shy, and some that was loner, but they was put in that category. They was given a black mark for being that way and it was held against. In the 1st grade, I fit in that criteria. I did all my assignments and my grades was better that some. They figured I couldn't get along with others, so they held me back! That right they flunk me in the 1st grade! I had in my mind if I failed the next year, I'll quit or get my GED. I realized it was about lesson learned, it was about attitude. so I conformed to they wanted me to be. By doing this, teachers were more attentive in helping you succeed, and go the extra mile. I wish I knew this the year before., This is a lesson I carried with me the rest of my life. Recently I got another job. They asked the million dollar question in the interview.. I had a great attitude, and I got the job over some people that was more qualified. I work with a guy, that he wasn't taught that lesson when he was in school. He's a loner, not a great attitude, and rebellious. He got Passover on many job, that he bid on. They gave it to a guy with no experiences. He hated criticism and don't get why, no matter how much experiences you have. Someone should had ask him the question! The one, they asked me in the 1st grade, the 1st time. The question they ask me , is the same I was asked in a job interview 50 years later. The question asked is "How well you get along with others"? Million $$$ question |
