ToT: Who viewed me!

i have learned not to put much stock into the VIEWED ME feature on this website...
i have discovered that if i merely mouse over the photo of a person it will tell them that i have viewed them.
couple that with the fact that if people really are viewing me and not contacting me then i would say they are just not interested...
so when you look through your who viewed me list just remember, those persons may not really be viewing you and you expect to generate interest you are going to have to do more than just go in look at profiles.
Happy hunting and make your own fun.

FWIW, I look to see what I can (unpaid member) about the person who is posting a blog. I will do this soon as I finish typing this reply. If you are far from me I probably won't (and can't) make contact even if I wanted to. Just sayn'.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I have my normal regular stalkers who view my profile, very few say hi or write, but i cant bitch cuz i do the same thing, view profiles and not say anything..
But a couple weeks ago, i decided i would make the first move and say hi next time they checked me out.. So i did.. I wrote her a well thought out hello introduction.. Hit send and got an auto reply! i fucking hate auto reply, so that put me off and i lost all interest.. Literally i didnt even want her in my inbox!! lol She wrote me back an hour later, she proceeds to tell me that she NEVER viewed my profile that TSmeet does profile viewing automatically.. I never heard of that before and i've been on this site for a very long time so i call BS.. But she could very well be right and a small part of me always questions it now when i get a profile view, did they really view me? or was it automated profile viewer lol

I prefer to think that everyone who looks is hot for my body. It may not be true, but it's what I prefer to think.

i had a guy get pissy with me via message when he said i kept viewing his profile i told him i had not even once viewed his profile.
then he sent me yet another message berating me for "viewing" him i realized that his photo was one of the 8 photos on my home screen and ever time my mouse rolled over his photo he got a ping that i viewed him... i tested it with a few proflies of people i know just moving the pointer over the photo... sure enough TSmeet told all of them that i viewed them.
if i pop up on your home screen it is probable that TSmeet will tell me that you viewed me...

I actually went in and viewed your profile... yes there is a daunting distance, but you have figured out that blogging can put you in touch with people that you would otherwize not see... keep it up and you may find what you are looking for here...

It is an amazing cognative disconnect, on the part of the site, to think that this technique would bring people together, or at least spark interest. As you note, it sparks more confusion and resentment than anything else.

It's a glitch worth fixing... or, at very least, worth formally (on the part of the blog administrators) alerting members to... could clear up a lot of confusion!

Somebody needs to sit down and give these boyos a serious talking-to about customer relationship management. But until then, there is a community worth being part of, and one must take the good with the bad...

Stop in, read, and offer comments at my "swinging as seen in the media" blog, "Confessions of a Lifestyle Man" humorlife, which is also the home of the monthly virtual symposium. New post: The Virtual Symposium Returns Lets Pick A Topic

on the contrary, i believe it is a brilliant marketing technique...if i think that people are "viewing me" then (while i am still new) i decide that i should pay to be able to see them too... by the time i figure out that it really means nothing i have already spent my money.
all of the many hook up sites have one goal 'make money' (just as we have that same goal in our lives) we cannot expect that a site such as this would not exploit our need to have relations, we can expect that we (the consumer) would be smart or at least accepting about how we spend our money.
