What's the Use?

We all use people in our own way, but we compromise our humanity when we place our needs and desires above another person's. Its not so much that we treat people how we ourselves would like to be treated but that we don't treat people how we wouldn't like to be treated ourselves. The former is a lofty goal but the later is quite simple, but all to frequently violated. Example, I make it clear to local members that I prefer to have an ongoing arrangements. If I at least got a half truth of, "tonight is all I can promise" or" I can booty call you every two months" it would be better than agreeing just to close the deal and playing little mind games for a couple of weeks and I'm fed up. I tell men all the time that I don't need a fish for tonight, I need a pond of koi to spring up in my backyard so I can get it whenever. Filling tonight is more important than my desires or even having to tell lies for the next month

You are so right, why treat others anything other than with the
respect you in turn would want....seems simple enough.
