Hi Joy... Thanks for the comments... I agree... So many incredible songs... It was a sad day... but, it inspired me to publish these lyrics... as surprisingly, some that read me, had never heard this song before... I watched a utube video yesterday on how they made their music... It was incredible... the process of the two founders of the band knowing the sounds they wanted and getting musicians to play their versions of them... and, then they picked and chose the components that ended up in the song... For Peg, Michael McDonald does the background vocals... and, to hear him speak about how many different ways he had to sing them... was just enlightening... because, they knew music like a science... and, it made me appreciate the art... going thru other Steely Dan songs today... hmm... have a happy labor day...
