These<b> lyrics </font></b>move me... I just caught the song yesterday for the first time... I was going to post a different message today as you know, for me, it's about the total experience, including the music so, maybe, it boiled down to this song anyway ever since I watched the TV SYFY series "Happy" I've confirmed what I've thought all along to be the gospel truth, that fortune cookies are made specifically for that one person. It doesn't matter how many are placed for an order, whether it is to go, or whether you open that fortune today, right now, tomorrow, or whenever, it is made special for you. for that heart that has been defined over the years of passion and suffering weathering all comers, stayers, naysayers, and what not... and, that's all I've got to say about this... continuing with this post... not all of the songs I select are received in the tone or manner desired, however they were culled thru the same process to deliver something special, something that makes you want to stop and smell those roses, or restart, or float, or cry, or think of that first time, think of something you said that you could take back, or something that you should have said, and held back... the sword cuts both ways, the passion, the love, the hurt, the pause, the restart, yes, I want you to feel them all... there's room for more, you are here reading, sometimes listening, sometimes crying, other times laughing, but, always anticipating that next easy going post and, I thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts with me have you secrets you betrayed, going along for the ride it's hard to live without someone that's the only one that made your pieces fit that is a rare find, and one that needs to be nurtured, watered, loved, cared for, hmm... fix it when it hurst... ................................................................................................................................ That is a beautiful song. Although it is beautiful, listening to it made me sad. I felt this way once about someone. That relationship went so badly that I don't think I will ever allow myself to trust on this level again. Happy for those that do find this level of a relationship. As usual, I enjoyed your words in the blog even better than the lyrics.

As usual, I enjoyed your words in the blog even better than the lyrics. thanks for taking the time to read, listen, and comment today. I agree with you on this one 100%. I have to confess that I have a safety blanket with Cary Brothers music... although, this cannot be said about many musicians that I listen to (unfortunately, Jim Croce being one of them)... Years ago, my daughter introduced me to the movie "Garden State" and a beautiful soundtrack... I discovered Cary Brothers with that movie and a host of other artists... The song featured was "Blue Eyes", and that's all it took... Of course, he doesn't write about the happiest experiences in life, but, I like them, just the same. I continue to follow his unique writing style and voice, even though some lyrics are tough because they remind us of places we've been, people, relationships and all other facets of life, some wonderful, some, altogether different...
