Working with Music - Part 2
Working in the Recording Industry...

Now that Management put their trust in me, it was time to move to the next step.

Learning the studio equipment. Year of 1980

1) Learning all about the Vocal Microphones: Neumann U87s

2) Learning the 24 Track Tape Machines: Studer A800s

3) Learning the Recording Console: Neve & SSL boards

4) Learning all about the processing equipment: EQs, Limiters, PreAmps and various effects.

I was so nervous to use the equipment the first few months. In time I became really good at it and it became second nature.

At the end of 1980 - I started to do some assisting engineering work, along with doing complete setups. Making sure the<b> guitar </font></b>amps, guitars, mics and drum kits were ready to go.

For the first time I can honestly say I love what I was doing.
