Definately not alone

Since I started my blog several months ago, I am finding out that I am certainly not alone with dealing with prostate cancer. I have received many messages from several people responding on my blog but I have also received more private messages from guys on my profile. I even received a message from a wife stating she told her husband about my blog which he read. He is a few years younger than me but still is in the age bracket that should be aware that prostate cancer doesn't just strike us older guys but can also affect guys of any age. In any event, he has a family history of prostate cancer and decided to go to his Urologist for some testing. Happy to report she said his PSA count was rising to the point that he needs to keep an eye on it. That is good news. At least he will have a time stamp for the future so in the event that he gets prostate cancer his Dr will know how to treat it.

I am not trying to preach to anyone but early detection for prostate cancer or any kind of cancer for that matter is so very important for proper treatment. It is a simple blood test that most people have received sometime in their life.

Again I thank everyone who reads my blog and especially all those that have responded. Take care, Brian

I also was worried, I started test when I was 58..... I am 62 and happy to report I am clear, but will keep up with the testing.... I did it more for a single reason, I do not know how my real parents are and the church will not tell me.... so I have no health records of them.... I am flying by the seat of my pants, so to say

Fortunately, new microsurgery techniques can minimize the erectile dysfunction from this operation.

Interestingly, my first swinging sex encounter was with a couple in their 50s where the guy had had a prostatectomy and could not get it up so they chose to swing so she could continue having sex. We got to be friends and they often invited me to their home for sex with her while he watched. She was a great fuck and being about 20 years older than me taught me some things that my vanilla sex life had not encountered.

Please note if you take benadryl for anything it will elevate your PSA's
My PSA is around 5-6 I had a cold and tool benadryl for 3 weeks. by chance it was time for my PSA test. It went to 11.5. My urologist said to come now. When we talk she asked if anything had changed. I explain that I had a cold and was taking benadryl. She seam know right off the bat. I stop taking benadryl in a month my PSA's were in my normal range. Andy
