The Date

So I had a date. The good news is that I went out in broad daylight dressed as the woman that I am. I didn't get a flat tire, I didn't have a car accident, I wasn't pulled over by the police, and local television channels did not have camera crews following me; none of that happened. All of the stuff just mentioned were the illogical fears that would rattle around in my head in regards to going out dressed as a woman. YAY lol. My makeup was good, but far from perfect. My clothes looked good, bra, white blouse type thing, some nice necklaces and earrings and bracelets. A black pencil skirt, panties, pantyhose, and this girdle type thing that had foam pads to make my butt look rounder and bigger.

When I was walking from the car to the hotel wherein I was going to meet the guy, a woman was walking her dogs and coming towards me, she looked at me and smiled and said hi. I blended in as a woman and that was a significant moment for me and I'm grateful that I pushed myself to go out in public dressed.

However, the date itself left MUCH to be desired. All I will write about the individual is PLEASE BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR BODY. I believe that I am honest about my size and shape. If you state that you're a "little overweight" that doesn't equal being morbidly obese to the point that you have to kind of waddle from side to side in order to walk.

Anyway, I freakin went out in the day time as myself. I had a mini effort at it that I shared about in a previous blog, but yesterday was a seismic shift for me.

Well as always, thank you for reading my blog and be safe and have fun.

Terri
