Big Tech Comes To Washington

Actually it look more like our representatives were the ones cumming.

First of the biggest one that we should be worried about took a pass, Google. The other two limped in Dorsey and Sandberg. Simple fact and probably true they're the smartest ones in the room, and they feel above them as well as you and me.

I won't get into a pissing contest about who knows their ass from a hole in the ground but I will say our Reps have the oversight. So one Google should of had it's ass dragged in today, kicking and screaming is fine. Second I'd enjoy hearing their first lie asking (does your company have a political leaning?) After I stopped laughing I'd proceed to my second question.

Look guys it's up to all of us to keep an open eye and ear on these things anymore. The next big war that can hurt us will start with tech as the attacker. DC with wake in the morning limp cocks in their hand to find out all of our satellites have been destroyed all but eliminating our great advantage. That with the use of EMP weapons and we are in a very bad place.

not one that wants government to have anything to do with business so surely not saying it should have tentacles into them. But I also fear or let's say I don't trust our safety in their hands. Thinking you're the smartest person in the room makes you the biggest idiot. Their large and fast success only add to my worries and their actions to date shows me they are very short on common sense, never underestimate common sense.

America is a unique place as are the Amrican people, but things are changing. One of the things that made us great and the biggest driver for other to come here is there's no limits on what you can become. Those thirty year multi billionaires should be proof. But fast and easy wealth tech, sports, entertainment... Is quickly turning us into a me country. Before we had our freedom but we understood from where it came from. So at moments of need self want was set aside and for the good of country drove the moment, sometimes with arms.

I see a weaker country with sad eyes, one quickly loosing sight of what's important. I fear we are becoming the boiled frog. Those who know what that means congrats, those who don't should look it up.

I totally agree! Big tech is great, but there's another huge danger that these billionaires (and one who is now the richest man in the world, worth $168 B, and just might be the first trillionaire within the next year or two, will soon be controlling just about everything. Just look at all the huge stores that are going out of business.....the same corporate stores that put 99% of the mom and pop stores out of business are now being killed off by these tech wizards. In 50 years, there will be less than 50 people who will have 95% of the wealth. They will control just about everything, and they'll be able to set whatever price they want.....and, they'll be able to control everyone's wages...…. So many people were upset about the government storing our personal info, many of these tech billionaires have total access to all our info, and they know just about everything we do and where we go...… I wonder how long it is before these billionaires start buying up all the underground rights from private citizens? Will they go after oil companies? Electric cars are a piss poor replacement for what we drive today...... Will they start building electric planes? Well, that's one way to thin the population..... Life was much tougher 100 years ago, but people were A LOT stronger 100 years ago..... Our population is far weaker today...... We may be much more educated, but 70% of the country couldn't survive a month without modern comforts. When the big "crash" occurs, it's going to make the crash of 1929 look like a day at the spa......
