I prefer to play it safe with condoms, however, when the trust is built and we are exclusive to each other and trust each other that we are ONLY playing with the other. I have been known to have sex or love making without condoms. there were a couple of pregnancies but GOD intervened and ended the pregnancies with miscarriages. Then only with anal sex it is a bacteria issue.
