So far....so boring.

Well it's been a week now since I parted with my to be able to message other users as well as read other user's messages, and wow, I've had loads of interest. How exciting. Now sifting through the obvious rubbish like USA, Australia, China and Taiwan, who you know you'll never meet anyway, I'm still left with a handful of contacts.

Next stage, read the profile. Now 50% are African ams which are so obvious, it's not worth wasting time with. I always check the English. I know the difference between some with bad English and some with foreign or African English. I'm too long in the tooth to fall for those.

Then there are the flirts from the confirmed or VIP users. Now % of those are fictitious accounts made up by your friendly webmasters. So let's diount them. Seriously, the gold membership costs enough for a month, who in their right mind s all the extra?

So now what? Tineye or Google image search on the profile pictures will turn up any obvious ammers, but they are getting clever in cropping pictures to try to fool these.

Ok, so I still have some that I can write to. If they write back they sometimes send more photos. These photos are usually better and rarely cropped. Time for Tineye and Google images again. Now if their first message doesn't ask for your email so they can send messages and photos well we might be lucky.

The final test. Ask for them to send a selfie holding something or doing something specific. My favourite is a specific finger in a specific ear. If they are real, it is not such a big task. Of the last few I did it with on here.....haven't heard from them since.

Grand total of real contacts from the 50+ in the first week?

A big fat 0.
