 Just tell her you will meet her there. Also, work out the payment arrangement beforehand too, since you have a financial setback.

There are plenty women here who would drive.....you just have to have the patience to find them . As La said....broaden your scope and see whats out there...

 Aren't there any restaurants within walking distance of you?

This is a safety thing for women, how do you not know this? There is no way I would pick up a guy I didn't know and give him a ride anywhere. Nor would I let a guy I didn't know well enough beforehand pick me up and take me anywhere. In general, men are stronger than me and so the risk to me of , robbery, or murder is too high for me to want to get in a car with an unknown.
