What do you desire? Here is what I desire. Desire; a strong feeling to want something, or wishing for something to happen. To my mind, the most compelling and revealing component of our "Profiles" is the "Ideal Person" response (trumping even the photo albums and videos!). For many in our community, I suspect this *question* is one of the few times in their life that they have been able to give full throat to these private (if not secret) thoughts. As such, in reading profiles I endeavor to pay close attention to details- even the innuendos that are embedded *between the lines*- and be respectful of their guidance. While not overthinking what is often furiously input from the keyboard with a mind towards completing this *exercise*, I find people are most candid with hasty, first-thing-that-comes-to-mind responses. A variation on Occam's Razor. I also appreciate that over time, the relentless flow of *invitations* (crude, rude and otherwise) tends to push women to qualify (often vehemently) their *desires* regarding what they are NOT *looking for*. Sadly this frequently serves only as chum for this community's trolls...an excuse to be even more abusive. That said, I hope we all find the opportunity to express our *desires* therapeutic and- ultimately- successful.
