 I just realised I'm one of those awful 'dick pic' men. Ironically, I would never send an unsolicited dick pic. But I'm new to the site and haven't worked out the etiquette. I'm guessing a face or body shot would generally leave a better impression?

 Does it get hot in Halifax? Anyhoo I'm with you. Penis and even more so I'm afraid Vagina's are purely functionaland I feel exactly the same revulsion as you at a shoddy focused selfie of semi flaccid knob or a prolapsed sideways sloppy jo.
On the other hand, metaphorically speaking of course..... You can't beat a nice top-rack in a light blue lace bra.

(I so much wanted to put a picture of one of those tacky wooden knob shaped bottle opener on to finish but couldn't be arsed)

 Some men wont read a profile, and even if they did, they still make the stupid assumption that because they are well equipped, that should impress you enough.
Speaking personally, I am still old school and think some things are best left to the imagination.
But your rant is justified.......but unfortunately maybe falling on deaf ears
