I went out to the city park & snatched a blue spruce out by the roots. I returned the basement & planted it in a empty beer keg. I have invited A/all to decorate this special tree. I hope that it brings peace & tranquility to the basement this holiday season. 
This is the 3rd season, if you have posted before please fill free to post again.
I have prepared a list of the decorations offered thus far. I may have omitted someone or a decoration, if I did I do apologize. Please remind me, and I will be sure to add your decoration to the list. I hope A/all will add something.

Thunder - a bright golden angel on top wearing a jenoowine moose antler halo & holding a burgandy wand with bright gold lightning bolts piercing the skys
Baron Anubis - Whata wonderful notion deserving of a very special ornamentation. Mine is green velvet adorned with rose petals and a thorny stem with which to hang it's beauty.
With graciousness and aplumb I bow deeply to all those who understand this effort and the spirit in which it has been offered.

Gaylin--I would like to add decorated sugar cookies in honor of my Mom who loved to bake so much. Especially at Christmas. Also, in thoughts of the hungry in this world.
ps. Painted the key to the dunking booth store room the exact same color of tree. Good luck finding it.
bright - I'd like to add an action ornament of two people happily ballroom dancing, even though one appears to be rather drunk. Also, please add a small, hand carved, wooden vase-shaped ornament, finished with Danish Oil and a few tears, in remembrance of my father who was a wood-worker.
lexxy - chocolate mint candy canes, and a cranberry garland
soft - small metal wind up toy, in memory of my Daddy and his -like joy and spirit at Christmas. And add a couple silver question mark ornaments from soft_question/soft_quintessa
bella - tiny little christmas bear, with a pink ribbon
ladyhawke - toynkite.. to take the wishes to heaven on it's stings that each wish may be granted in turn
pb - STAR of HOPE to the tree.. in Hope that ALL of O/our soldiers will come back home safe.
The Man - small black leather rose, on the petal facing the outside in small white letters is the word 'why'
Looks4Peace - fluffy white Johnny mop as a topper on the tree

Thunder - adds a electric train circling the Peace Tree and adds a race car track
2009: Silky - Adding a miniature wood cabin ornament and a tiny antlered friend named: John Deer.
sharice - adds a friendship ring to the tree hoping all will stay safe and happy over the holidays and not forget the ones we have all lost.
silky kitten - I want to hang a crystal snowflake to represent the purity and fragility of true friendship. Treasure it, it can melt away if treated badly.
softy - please add a crystal teardrop on a solid gold thread. May each person be touched by their own memories and give their own meaning to the tear.
ktownranger - wooden doves painted white to remeber all that have left us so we can remember them this season

muffy - shiny thingies that silky gave me with love, she seems to have an endless supply and we all know I'll get more for being such a good girl

kitten - shiney silver ball with peace love and joy printed in red glitter cause imho that's whst x-mas is all about..being happy and celebrating the holidays with people you love*smile* *skips back* oh yeah almost forgot..a pair of furry handcuffs my lacey white thong*giggles...and a box full of ripe banana's
sexykittycat - a little wreath of rosemary for remembrance, olive branches for peace, honeysuckle for the bonds of love and sprinkled with holly berries for festive cheer
Frcowboy - Hangs a little roller coaster with a rainbow at the end held by a snowman and an angel
Kahne - In memory of one lost I'd like to add a clear crystal bulb with a frosted glass infinity symbol floating inside.
BV - I leave upon this tree of Peace, a glowing heart-shaped crystal ornament.

Nautilier08 - At the foundation of the Peace Tree, I'd place a manger scene with 3 wise men overlooking Joseph, Mary and her new baby boy. I think nothing says Peace more than Family. Secondly, comes new found Friends, like the 3 kings. And thirdly, Riches, such as gold (and the other 2 items) provide means for people to interact with one another in a non-violent manner. Yup. Family, Friends and Riches. That about sums it up just right."
Silky - quietly adds a miniature MLT sammich for my dear friend impishanna.
LadyRider - lays a wreath under the tree to honor my brother who lost his life in the Bihn Dihn Valley of Vietnam and the other Military members how have given their life for our country. On the wreath a bouquet of flowers you would have given to your bride on your wedding day, a pair of booties for your first born you never got to hold. a box of pencils for their first day of school, a golden rose that you would have given mom and dad on their 50th anniversary, a crystal goblet to toast your bride on your silver anniversary, Christmas ornaments to put on your tree in your home to pass on to future generations like mom and dad did. at the top Old glory and the POW-MIA flag to display proudly. The background of this wreath is evergreen symbolizing life eternal.
bitty - This is probably my Mom's last Christmas. It makes me very sad to see how Alzheimer's has taken her from us before her time. But there are still sparks of *my Mom* that peek through once in a while and it makes me smile! She has always thought i was soooo funny and laughed at all my stories...like when i fixed my 1st dinner for my Sir and the ham exploded when i took it out of the oven! She said "Only MY could have something like that happen!!"
For my mommy....i am placing the ornament from her childhood Christmas tree...one that she always treasured....one that she always put on last on our tree.......her pickle ornament. Thank you so much Thunder....my dear friend for this gift of being able to share.....hugzzzz
Dizzy - ok I changed my mind.. for 2009 i would like to place some little kitties with yellow ribbons on the tree to go along with the yellow ribbons from last year for the safe return of all the men and women over seas fighting for our freedom.
I thought and thought on this one for a while and finally decided on the right ornament. Finally decided that I would be honnored to place a Taz on a motorcycle with angel wings in honnor of Trollstomper. He loved motorcycles and Taz was his fav loony toons caracter. The angelwings for him to Ride off to Heaven twords the sunset where he belongs. We love and miss you stomper.
Paso - This year I'd like to add a ball gag, in hopes that people will look over and see it when they're about to engage in unnecessary bickering, I'd like for it to be a symbol that reminds people that some things are better left unsaid; that personal insults are out of place in mature discussions.
Beast - an olive branch
impishanna - patters in and flies sideways around the tree shaking glittery magic dust filled with love straight from her heart onto the fragrant green branches, to fall gently onto whomever comes near
This year i would like to hang a yellow crystal rose in rememberence and thanks to all our USA solders who have and still fight for freedom. butterfly
fuzzy - Well, I would like to add a beautiful lacy sparkly thread crocheted angel to the very top of the tree with her hands held folded and her head bow'd in prayer for a beautiful and joyful holiday season for all, and for everyone who sees to be able to remember what the true meaning of the holidays is all about....peace and joy over being with those you love and hold dear to you.
