End Of 10 Days

So I am sitting at the Super 8 in Edmonton, watching my nephews go down a waterslide, over and over again. We are hanging out until their mom gets here to take them home. While I sit here, I realize that I am actually torn between emotions.
On the one hand, I cannot wait to get back to my normal life including the wild and crazy sexual adventures that I adore. I can't wait to get back to sleeping in, getting off, setting up something with a FWB, going out for coffee with friends, going to dinner and all the other things I miss.
However, I have had a great time with these . We had an adventure a day, did more than they do in 2 months and had some funny conversations. We talked about vagina dentana ( thanks to iwillkissubak for that one lol) size of things, how to become a photographer for playboy, propping a giant gold penis up next to a super drunk passed out guy; while taking pictures of it, uni-weiners and uni-boobs and many many more.
In the end, as much as I bitch about not being able to stick to my routines, it was certainly a blast and I would do it over again in a heartbeat.
Besides, my handful of FWB are all waiting patiently for the boys to leave. I'm sure it will make up for all the lost time.

Perverted Mind vs. Being the Cool Auntie

Being the cool Auntie that I am, I let my two nephews go to the candy store downtown and get $10 worth of candy each. They chose their candy and jumped in the back of the truck. At the age they are at, they have some pretty funny conversations. This one however made me spit my water out.
E= Littlest nephew
A= Older Nephew
M= Me

A: Whatever. How do you know it's the best candy? You haven't been everywhere.
E: I just know. I am super smart.
A: All you got one big sucker! That's not the best candy ever, gawd.
E: (Looks at his brother with a straight face) Size Matters.
M: Bahahahahahahahaha (spits out water)

I found it freaking hilarious to hear a seemingly innocent phrase coming out of his mouth. I guess their Auntie isn't just the coolest Auntie they have, but the Auntie with the dirtiest mind.

Getting Off While You Have Company?

I unintentionally offered to take my nephews for 10 days this summer. It was a phone call I did not expect to get and it caught me off guard. After a couple phone calls, I had agreed to take my 2 pre- nephews in July.
Well.... they got here on Sunday. I have them until the 21st of July. I have a ton of things planned and set to do during the day, but.... I have a problem.
Being single, I have developed a few routines. When I am on my own, I get off in the morning, go to work, come home and get off a few more times before bed. Of course that routine changes when I have FWB over or am at their house.
I miss my routine and I am only 2 days in!! I live in an open space and they are sleeping across from my bed. The shower is open to the bedroom and quite frankly, I can't tell them to go to the park for an hour because Auntie needs some alone time.
So, I suppose after my rant.. the question is: Is it inappropriate to get off while you have company staying with you? Or should I be good and just wait it out until they are gone?

First Impression vs. Judgment

My aunt and I had a debate over this subject a couple of weeks ago. She said that she doesn't judge people, but she makes an informed decision based upon her first impression of that person. I told her that she is judging a person. Was I wrong? Was she right? I feel that she was taking a politically correct stance on a simple subject opposed to being blunt.
I fully admit it. I judge and I make no qualms about it. I look at the photos that are sent to me and pay attention to what is in the background. Let's be honest, in the back of my mind I think "if your home is a mess in the background, what else are you not taking care of??"
I judge you based upon your writing skills. If the email you write has no grammar skills at all, you can bet I will not bother with you. If you cannot take the time to write "you're" instead of "ur," will you actually take the time to get me off when we meet? Or will you take short cuts there too?
Describing all the things that I judge people on would be an exhaustive list. Human nature is to judge others. To compare, to determine and to figure out whether we will fit with each other or not. It is what we do naturally. If we all accept this instead of sugar coating it, we may all be better off in the long run.

For the last few months I have found it intriguing to read the blogs of many other TSmeet'ers. I have been mulling over the idea of joining the ranks and decided to take the plunge.
I don't expect to have many great and earth shattering posts (at least to me), but I do expect to be able to share the myriads of things I have learned thusfar and rant about others.
So, thanks for taking the time to check it out and please feel free to post comments/questions that you have!
