Ok, ok, I know I'm a little early, but hey, I'm excited!!! The new year is coming and we can put 2020 behind us!! I am so looking forward to 2021!! This has been a rough year, no lie, people I know died, lost jobs, and in general it seems like the world went to hell in a hand basket! I'm not one to moan about the past, but I would just like to take a second, recognize that it did HAPPEN, and move on. We all need to look forward to a brighter future. Put covid behind us, stay healthy and pursue our dreams.
If nothing else, this year has made realize that there is a difference between working to live and living to work. And I have been doing the wrong thing for a while now. This is a good time to prioritize and think about what we want and what makes us happy. I always was glib about the saying "nobody ever died wishing they had worked more", but now I see how I've personally been dragged into that and am going to try much harder to find that work life balance.
So-- that was a really long way of saying Happy New Year!!! Lets all go out and make this one of the best years ever! Let's live our dreams!

Hello All -
This has been a fun ride. I *still* haven't met anyone from here in person, but it is a pandemic, and that is o I've met (virtually) some very nice ladies (at least I hope they are ladies, that always is the question until you actually see them in person!), on here and am having some fun chats. The number of scammers keeps going up, and they really are creative and put a lot of thought into their methods, in a way I admire them, if they weren't so annoying 
I think I'm going to let this account expire at the end of the 1 month on here. I just think that while this has been a lot of fun, I'm not sure it is the experience I'm looking for, or how I'm going to meet people that I feel I really *click* with.

This has been a fun week, and it went by really quickly. Aside from all the scammers (you know who you are), there are some awesome ladies on here. Very intelligent and very sexy. I am very happy to have met a few of them (virtually) and hope that someday I am fortunate to meet them in person. I do think the site is still a bit clunky, but functional. It is the pervasivness of the ads that make it hard to use. I would think that if I have a gold or vip account, that I wouldn't have to see ads.
Looking forward to this next week on here! I have a goal to actually meet somebody on here in the 1st month. That will probably decide if I renew my gold account.
(I'd also like to know why I have views from Japan/Tawain and most of Asia?)

I was totally wrong. I though the most common request would be for a picture but instead it is this: "Can we move this conversation to another site?"
I'm kinda hart broken  But seriously, I think I'm averaging about 40% scammers, 40% people who no longer on here (last access over a year), and about 20% real people! Not the worst percentages, but definitely not the percentages I thought I'd see.
I will say that the people on here who I have talked with have all be awesome! I think if you can build up a good group of friends, this is a pretty good site. I might not stay on here after finding a good group of supportive friends.

So, it is interesting to see the 'deactivated accounts' showing up in my list of contacts. I guess TSmeet really does get rid of scammers.
I've found the search a little chucky, I think instead of searching for memebers who joined in the last 3 days or 1 week, I'd like members who have been on the site for more then a couple of weeks, then I know they are real or as real as can be on here 
I haven't met anyone in person yet (pandemic and all), but I have had some good chats with people. Some people are just here to talk, others are already in a relationship and not really looking. I've gotten good advise and it does feel like a community on here. Do people feel it is worth staying the "Gold" member?
I notice I've had lots of views but no comments, is that normal?

Well it has been an interesting 24 hours. I actually got a few replies, and some weren't scammers (at least I don't think so....). I did have interesting scammers, the 1st one was the one you always hear about, she was in the Army, posted overseas, coming home in weeks and was looking for somebody start a new life with. She picked , because I'm decades older and don't want (NOT). It was a pretty short interaction, but I've always hear it from the other other side (a guy overseas looking come home a new life...).
The other want on a new site (gagahi) that was mostly in Chinese, and send/recieve any messages I needed enter my credit card... yikes. We needed communicate on that site, otherwise her husband would catch her. Red flags everywhere!. All of her pics had things in the background that were in Chinese also (store fronts, road signs, license plates, etc).
I've been trying to figure out -- is it safer to give out an 'TSmeet-only' email address to contact you through, or a voice number that they can you at? Anyone have any experiences with either and found one better?
I'm also curious as the stats on here -- it says I've looked at over 300 profiles, and I'm pretty sure I haven't -- there aren't even that may profiles within 50 miles of (which is what I've been cutting the search off at.)

Hello All! Well it is day three on here and I'm still trying to figure it all out! There are a ton of scammers on here, but hey, I expected that. I have been introduced to some new asian websites that I'd never heard of before , but I haven't given out my credit card info yet !
I've actually had two conversations on here with what seem like real people (they are nice, supportive and willing to help out a newbie!) which is pretty good! I'll update tomorrow on any progress over the weekend -- I have high hopes that TSmeet gets busy on weekends!
I've managed to fill out some more in my intro, and answer some of the questionnaires, so hopefully that will generate more interest.
