What are you thankful for?

One of the sad things to see is this trend to rob us of this Holiday. We are allowing retailers to turn this into the new start of the Christmas season. If there is a holiday that should be part of our lives it is this day. When I pray I was taught to always thank the creator first for all that you have. Then ask what you need. Some how it makes my needs seem smaller than what I have. Before we start this season of, "I want" should we not remember what we have?
So here is what I am thankful for. A house, my gardens and my trees. Great neighbors and better friends. Food on my table and eyes to see the beauty of the world. A Sun to work under and a Moon to dream under. Good health and a job to keep me busy.

Right on my roof! Hard to believe it is Thanksgiving week already! Where has the year went to  Hmm snow last winter, more snow, cleaning up in the yard, organizing the house, A couple of trips in there. Oh And wine, women and sushi tossed in from time to time. Wow guess it was kinda full! Well now on with the rest of this year. Time to break ground on the House additions. The snow we got has melted and the ground is not froze so digging will start this week. I can hardly wait. I look forward to a real office, with electric plugs and room to organize. I look forward to not having piles here and there of stuff, to sort through.

Rolling up my shelves

Well the time has come for me to make some real changes around here. I am having a new bathroom put in, a new rear entrance and an Office space. This is the first wave. So I find myself removing alot of the carpet that was here when my ex and I bought this house. Colors will change in a couple of rooms. It is like throwing out the old ghosts and painting over them. My had a turtle pen outside that is torn apart. This was perhaps the saddest thing of all. I remember catching crickets and worms to feed to the turtle. It was neat to see my excited. But with her walking out of my life, this just seems the time to rid myself of the pen.
Like much of this work it is sad to see the old going. But hopeful toward the future and present. It is time to move on and make the House mine. I look forward to creating a great office space that will assist me in making my time more productive. I look forward to a place to take off my muddy boots outside.
I feel amazed at the excitement of doing this.

Hey what do you know I did knock off a couple of things this year! So I thought it was time to move the list back up a page or two.
So what am I looking for? Well for women, A native American, An Asian. A woman taller than me, this means 6 ft or taller. A woman with really big breasts ( I know almost every mans dream ).
I would like a MFFF ( I know it will most likely kill me but this my bucket list) sex in a hot tub. Sex on a train. Sex in a public place. Sex in every room in my house ( 5 down, 3 to go ). In a hospital with a nurse. Be part of a GB.
Would like a woman to control me once. Make me do her bidding. Mild bondage, Light torture, candle wax. Be part of a DP. Be part of a DV.

So can you give your heart out to much? Can you care about to many people in different ways without hurting yourself? Can you care and love people in different levels. Is it possible to love one, want to help another one and enjoy spending time with another?
Or is this just a heart break getting ready to happen?

Changes around here

So I have decided to make some changes here. I recently went on a long vacation, bought a new suit ( had to get dressed up 3 times on my trip, YIKES), been cleaning up and have plans to do some changes to my house. New exterior Doors, a Bay window and some work on my Bedroom. Suddenly it seems after years of kinda hiding, I now want some big changes around me. Not sure where this all goes. Maybe its time to step up and grab life again.

So this year has been interesting. I have met a couple of women from here. The strange part is that I guess according to a couple of women I am a catch. How the Hell did this happen? Was it the water? I guess the expression of shock on my face must have surprised them.
I am myself. Always have been hope I always will be. I am in good shape. I try to look ok. I try to please my partner. I just do not see myself as a catch. So many years women seemed to run from me. Now at 54 I am desired, by some. So I wonder did I stay the same and the rest of the world seems to have caught up to me. Or have I changed?

Well besides a cool and dry one I have met some interesting people. Finally after wanting to play out in my yard it happened, several times! Lol I will spare you all the details. Once durning the day and a couple of times at night. I forgot the power of fire. I have had several fires this year and its just so relaxing.
I have found my time spent this summer in working on the house. My playtime has been less but at least the House is looking better. The inside does look better. Still needs some more work but it is getting better.
So as the end of summer closes, I look forward to more, More play, more new people, more experiences and more done on the house.

Just when I think my life may get interesting, things unravel again. How do you find that balance of work, sex and taking care of your stuff?
I just feel this summer I have neglected my friends. I have things left to finish for folks, A tree, a sink, more pruning, concrete. A problem among 2 old friends has sucked away time, They are both idiots for letting things go so far! The one spreads around lies how I want to sleep with her the other thinks I am his moron slave.
I have got things done. My house is cleaner. My basement is better. I got a load or trash hauled out of here and have burned a lot of scrap wood.
This feeling remains of treading water. I look at my list of must do and I just get depressed. It just seems to stay the same length no matter what I get done.

Must be late summer, I find myself looking at the women in there tight clothes. Not even the young ones more the Milfs. I think I must be turning into the dirty old man, I have watched older men become. This thought is kinda like getting into a cold shower, I think things are shrinking, lol. So my question, are dirty old men not really dirty and just coming to grips with their sexual wants?

Summer is half over! Now I am freaking out. Several projects I thought that would have been done are just sitting. Too much grass to mow and to many weeds.

I am still here! Been working on the yard and house. The yard just keeps growing along with the weeds in the gardens. It is amazing how long all those little projects take. Then toss in some side issues to deal with and I see the summer half over already.

As most of us know today was set up to honor the died from the American Civil War. In my youth I was a huge Lincoln fan. At another time perhaps I will discuss my views on him as I have aged.
In Lincoln's second swearing in speech he said with malice toward none and charity for all. Even today I believe that our service men still live by this. Look at how America rebuilt Germany and Japan after the second World War. Iraqi and Afganistan in recent times. I think back today toward the young men who gave there lives for peace. Somalia trying to allow people to eat. Lebanon trying to stop the fighting. Young men and women will die in combat. What I grieve most today, are those who while trying to keep the peace have been killed.
To all our Vets, my heart felt thanks, especially those who have served protecting others.
