It came from out of the blue
totally unexpected
but.....
finally i got my release
Thank goodness
Hell.....
I'd waited long enough
So.....
I pounced on the opportunity
as one does in times of great need
It wasn't as long as I'd have normally liked
I could have done with an extended duration
but.....
I utilised it to the best of my ability
and at times like these
I am at my absolute best lemme tell ya

Upon waking, after a bit of a Nana nap the other afternoon,
i toddled out to the lounge room to say hello to my loving .

Sometimes life really does kick you so hard in the guts it knocks the air right out of your lungs.
It is through tears and with the deepest sadness i write this post
I know there are many of you that followed my dear friend Fussy MuFFins rm_fussybitch's blog.
Once you read one of her post it was hard not to become hooked on her amazing creative talent, her intellect, humour, and her loving, deep thinking, caring beautiful soul, i know i got hooked.
Many of you also know that Gabe(fussybitch) and i became really good 'five eights' (mates) and have often asked me how she was going when she stopped writing in her blog.
My first contact with Gabe 'Fussy' was in the wee small hours chatting in the Aussie chat room. We clicked immediately, bounced off each other, ran amok in the chat room, and giggled our tits off for hours that night/morning. But more than that, and not really knowing why at the time, we had a very real life connections too.
It wasn't long at all before we formed a wonderful and real friendship not only here on the site but also out here in the real world.
As our friendship grew our understanding of why our paths crossed, and why we clicked the way we did became clear to us, we had these goose bump giving connections in life that totally blew our minds.
We knew we met for a reason, and i am honoured and love that Gabe was my friend
This morning, unable to sleep i thought i'd jump online and check my emails, when i saw a familiar name, Gabe's husbands name, with the title 'About Gabe' My heart jumped into my throat as i knew instantly something was wrong, although i still wasn't at all prepared for what came next.....
"Sharon, i've got some sad news to pass on. Gabe passed away about a fortnight back, she had a massive asthma attack that triggered a heart attack and by the time the ambo's arrived she was gone. The only small comfort i have is that she died in my arms at home. I miss her so, so much, Sharon."
There was more to the email, but that is mine to keep.
All i know is my heart hurt so much reading those lines, all i could do was cry out loud and let the tears flow, the tears are still flowing. All i wanted to do was hug the hell out of 'J' Gabe's husband and make sure he was okay.
In the passed there were times when either Gabe or myself, for one reason or another, couldn't get online, so we would put posts up for each other in our blogs to let our friends here in 'blogsville' know what was going on with us. So today, i post this for my beautiful friend to let you all know, she has said goodnight, and now she sleeps peacefully.
For me, a world without my 'China Plate' (mate) Gabe is a little sadder, but i will forever be grateful we were friends.
My heart goes out to her husband 'J' and my friendship will always be there for him.
