While in my local chatroom the topic of reading blogs came up. It came to my attention that many who have been on the site for years, chat here, and partake in other site activities, never read blogs and would never think of writing one.
Do you remember what brought you to the blog pages?
I can't recall exactly, i suppose I came upon them while exploring every aspect of TSmeet, except what you have to pay extra for (above and beyond the membership fee like the professional cam women). I have made a few friends (people I actually get together with) through blogging, but most of my acquaintances are from emails and chatrooms.

I've been divorced more than 11 years and until recently been pretty lucky finding men I enjoy being with, both socially and sexually. I am always willing to meet someone I encounter online, if after reading their profile or chatting there seems to be a possibility of becoming friends. I still haven't stopped taking a chance and meeting for a meal or drink....yet.
I currently have been seeing someone for over a year...very casual FWB situation which works well for both of us. Nothing monogamous, we both have no problem if we see people we've known in the past, or try making new friends.
For the last few months I have been making an extra effort to go out with other men from A F F and other dating sites, hoping to find someone that might possibly add some excitement to my life. The trouble I have encountered is I can't seem to find anyone that really turns me on. For many years, I was able to find many men who I'd made a great connection with chatting. We'd spend hours exchanging amusing and insightful IMs, leading to a strong desire to meet, anticipating that there would be a physical attraction. And there was.
Some of those men I still communicate with and occasionally see, but the excitement isn't the same. Then there are other men, who for reasons I can't even remember, have lost contact with. Sometimes timing was bad...we both had other things going on in our lives that stopped us from continuing to see each other. Occasionally I wonder if I should contact a couple of them to see if the spark would still be there. Not just a sexual spark, really liked and enjoyed each other in many other ways too. Somewhere in my IM and email archives they still exist.
At the moment, I'm feeling very discouraged. In the last few weeks I've gone out with 4 men who I thought had potential...none of which I care to see again. We met and carried on decent conversations (I can talk to anyone), but I felt zero physical attraction or affection for and found them somewhat boring.
Why I'm writing this, I'm not sure. I'm not asking for men to hit on me and say they'll try to get me out of this slump...finding someone for sex isn't the issue. It's finding someone that if I have sex with once...I will want to have sex with again and also look forward to just hanging out with.
In the meantime, some would think I shouldn't complain, because I do have a very good friend, I see on a regular basis, who is very good to me and we truly are friends and lovers...well not love exactly....Wish I could be content with what I have.

Recently a fellow blogger, intendadiversion, who I read regularly, wrote about poorly written online communication [post 3482242]. I've seen this topic brought up before and usually it is about how men write. Made me wonder what about women. From my experience, most men want more than sex. They also want a woman they know they can have some type of, at least semi-intelligent, conversation with...either before or after sex. So I am curious, what do men think about women's profiles, emails, texts, etc., that have typos, misspelled words or just poor grammar. Even if she's got great tits and a phenomenal ass, are you reluctant to get involved with her?

Not sounds of ecstasy, but snoring. The man I see on a regular basis and I both snore. It's okay if we fall asleep at the same time (usually, pass out after sex), but if either of us wake in the middle of the night...which at our age, we often do, falling back to sleep when the person next to you is snoring can be very difficult. There are times one of us actually goes into another room to sleep.
I'm sure we are not alone with this dilemma. I wonder how others deal with this issue.
Sometimes I wonder if carrying protection should include earplugs along with condoms.

Sexy Bitch - An Oxymoron?

Is bitchy sexy? All too often I see women proclaiming that they are bitches. It seems to get men's attention. Do men find an "attitude" appealing? I always prided myself on being friendly and tolerant with very few, if any, bitchy tendancies. Maybe I've been going about it all wrong. Would negativity and intolerance make me more desirable?

Guess They Didn't Want My Opinion

When perusing the "recent" blogs I added comments to someone's blog post...one that was asking for opinions. I questioned their opinion, I didn't write anything rude or disrespectfully. I even wrote that everyone is entitled to do things the way they want.
My original post was then followed by a comment from the blogger questioning my experience with the situation. So, I followed up, saying I was experienced and explained again why I felt the way I did.
Since I can't remember every blog I comment on, I rely on the most recent comments I've made feature here on TSmeet. Well, apparently my comments have been deleted, because I can't find that particular one anywhere.
As I said, I don't think I wrote anything that could have been taken offensively. I just answered the question posed, and elaborated on my answer a bit. We all have the option to delete comments made on our blogs, but why ask them, if we don't want to see any answers that aren't in agreement with our own opinion?
BTW the topic was circumcision. Someday soon, I might write my own blog about it, citing opinions I read on another blog.

I just recently heard about someone who was an acquaintance from TSmeet who passed away. And yet, his profile keeps showing up on my home screen as someone near me. This is not the first person I know who died that I knew from the site. Sadly, since most people are here without the knowledge of their families, unlike other dating or social media sites they may be on, no one knows to delete their account.
As someone in the know, should I notify the powers that be at TSmeet......what do you think?

Indexing blog posts...finally got around to adding the last 6 months. Still haven't figured out a good way to organize them. I don't particularly like having to scroll down a long post or multiple entries to get to the most current, yet a list at the beginning of a blog makes it so much easier to see what a blogger has written in the past. Some sort by type/theme...I've considered that; however, not quite sure how I'd categorize them.
Any suggestions?
