I just don't know whats worse, the site itself or the people on it.
Let me explain.....
First the site: I understand the folks running the site want to make money, but I think they like many others don't care what kind of scams they play along the way.
Firstly the free membership, sure creating the profile is free but it is so limited it is pointless in all reality.
Next has to be the phony view tracking. I was in a chat window with a friend when a notification popped up telling me she had just viewed my profile. Being the curious fellow I am I inquired when the last time she had viewed my profile. Answer.... more than a week ago! And I had seen the same notification quite a few times that week.
It's no surprise so many women and couples get a rude or nasty response back from men for a rejection, the site has told the offender that their profile is being looked at daily by someone they themselves are interested in, implying a mutual interest on the receivers part. The offender then makes contact only to find no interest at all. WTF? I am by no means condoning bad behavior or rude responses, but I sure can see why they happen.
Finally for today is the sites lack of effort to improve the site, the IM system is hit or miss, a lot of messages just don't go thru, Blogs are having issues, you can't see older posts, if you contact the site with a question, they point you to the faq section (like we didn't go there first) or just don't respond at all.
Now the people: Without a doubt ALL are sexy in their own way. Some are fantastic, happy, and respectful people.
The rest are questionable at best.
The guys can be rude crude and outright disgusting at times and are quite obviously the major majority of site patrons,
The couples in my estimation are at least 50% fakes, guys looking to cheat on their spouses or searching for an ego boost ( Someone is interested!!!! yay me!!! )
The ladies.... I got no real bitch with you, I know you get a ton of stupid one liners and gross propositions from guys and couples...... But if someone spends a bit of time on a message and you aren't interested.... could you please just politely say so. The folks with respect will understand, and those who don't have most likely been fooled by the site itself into believing you did have interest.
Fakes and flakes.... The worst!! the folks who don't show or have last minute cancellations. A cancellation is fine on it's own, a little disappointing for sure but everyone has had something ruin their plans for a night. Shit happens right?
It's the flakes that don't arrange another time for a playdate or their reasoning is overly lame and more of an excuse. Fakes are another issue, the guys who don't show without a heads up, the fake female profiles with poor grammar, and make no sense, the people who chat everything up like it's all good until a meet is suggested then disappear and make no contact or respond to you anymore.
Some days it gets to be too much for a guy who battles with depression... to be rejected and ignored, when he is sincere and just looking to make connections, have some good times and maybe find love in the process.
Of course I won't give up on building friendships here that expand beyond a good conversation and into the bedroom, I just wish both the site and the people here make some changes in how they do things and interact with others.
The site could fix the issues instead blaming my computer, or ignoring the complaints. It could allow people to rate each other on such things as honesty, reliability, rudeness, and likelihood of further meetings.
The people could just stop being DICKS - be respectful, be honest, be real, and treat people the same way you would want to be treated.

does anyone else get nap boners?

It's been a few yrs since I made a blog, (another profile) I'm Back!
This may be all over the place, I got lots to get out I think.
